...well trying to come up with an idea for the PA Sale thread. I understand they're giving out GC's for the three best pics each week.

Only thing is I mostly purchased utility stuff the last week like the Graphics Cameras and some Merchant Resource Kits. Asked if those would qualify.

I seem to be having issues dressing Lisha for Laura 3. Her boobs are poking through the clothes. Sorry, I can't post the renders because Mr. Richard H. would delete them. He would say: "Image deleted for frontal nudity of a human. Please read http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/3279_4/ " lol

Yes, I did try to adjust the clothes but there aren't many morphs to accommodate a big uh, chest. Guess I need to find some Daz (OptiTex) or Poser dynamic clothes for Lisha.

Edit: forgot to mention that I have a similar issue with Emeli but Emeli has smaller boobs. I can fit most of Laura's clothes on her.

Poser or DS? In DS, you can try Transfer Active Morphs after setting the character (right-click on figure in viewport) or you could add a smoothing modifier to the clothes and set Laura as the collision target.

If you made the figure white or grey all over you could post an image.

I'll get back to you after i eat dinner. It appears that I didn't save the scene with Lisha and the pokethrough. now I need to recreate the scene in Daz Studio 3.

A tip to soften your brown sugar - put a slice of bread in the container.

...I've also seen a saltine square used to keep sugar from clumping in restaurant dispensers.

Morning. Home again after a night on the water, is remarkable how energising it is just to drift around without a care in the world. Feeling heaps better, always slightly amazed at how resilient the body is :)

you know what? Lisha is for Millennium Girls, not Laura 3. No wonder Laura's clothes won't fit Lisha. I was also wondering why I couldn't apply generation 3 textures to Lisha. Transfer active morphs doesn't work either. lol Thanks for trying to help Mr. Richard H.

Edit: morning ps1borg. glad you had fun on the water.

Edit 2: forgot to upload the render of Lisha with grey skin. I can fit the preteen clothes with by transferring active morphs.

Transfer active morphs feature isn't available in DS3 I don't think.

We have a medallion that is made for that...I think it's a clay thing, but not glazed. It works great! Better than having concerns about bread or cracker getting blue mold after absorbing that moisture. You can probably find them in any housewares store, like Bed Bath & Beyond...or maybe even in a Target.

It was mostly sunny and warm today again. It hit 76 today...it hit 79 yesterday and Thursday. I think we'll be in the low to mid 70s at best for the next few days. Did some more yard work. Digging up sod and transplanting it, widening the garden. Sod is heavy. A couple hours and I was done.

DS3 has Morph Follower. Load Item right click item in Viewport, bottom choice. Not as good as DS4+ but I do use it.

Now for something different: How many here can say they have burned out a Chassis fan in just over 3 years due to Rendering? Note, the fans have been well cleaned on a regular bases too...

Raises Hand.. No Rendering for the Jade till fixed... small whimper goes here...

It may not be from rendering, but I've burned several fans over the past several years. And burned out a video card or two. I have a nice case, with twin fans in the bottom front of the case. I had them replaced with fans with ball bearings in them. They last a lot longer and are a little better than the plastic ones, too. They are a little bit more expensive than the cheap ones, and a little bit more noisy, but it's not like sitting at an airport under jet engines, I can live with it. They are well worth the slightly higher cost. I'd recommend that for your new box. But don't ask them to do it, do it yourself or bring it to a good local shop. You don't want to wait another month for a fan or two.

.,,yeah but that's generally more expensive than a few grains of rice or a saltine cracker, especially at places like BB&B or Kitchen Kaboodle. Those are stores for the upscale crowd, not us plebs.

If you don't keep an eye on your foodstuffs, than there is only one to blame for them going bad.

After Many hours of playing with interweb, modeling software and few other tid bits, I have not kicked my CPU heat above 51C so far. Think I'm in a safe zone heat wize as long as I stay away from the Render button in DAZ Studio. You got to LOVE a well built PC. I know I'm loving on this one. So going to treat her nice till the local shop opens Monday morning. Thinking real hard on having her upgraded to full ball bearing fans at that time. Even if I gotta leave her there over night. I doubt I will, they run a very well stocked shop. Maybe a heavy duty Power supply just to show her I still care.

Yeah, child-proofing over-the-counter arthritis pain medication makes it arthritic-proof as well. One of the dumbest things ever.
I'm also fond of the ads that ask me, "Do you suffer from diabetes/arthritis/high-blood pressure/lodestones/writer's cramp?"

    No, I enjoy them. :-/

It's not easy being blue with white pinstriping.

    It's OK...we all got our kinks. :)
For example, I like "Lola". :)

As an aside...this visual gag must be one of the most often used "Wow, I just thought of a funny idea for an image to make and post on the web!" moments.
