It was mostly sunny and warm today again. It hit 76 today...it hit 79 yesterday and Thursday. I think we'll be in the low to mid 70s at best for the next few days. Did some more yard work. Digging up sod and transplanting it, widening the garden. Sod is heavy. A couple hours and I was done.

Real nice sunny day here, spent most of it in the garden too :)

    It's OK...we all got our kinks. :)
For example, I like "Lola". :)

As an aside...this visual gag must be one of the most often used "Wow, I just thought of a funny idea for an image to make and post on the web!" moments.

would be more impressed if you were Maria Callas

hungreeeey too. t'nite iz another cream of wheat night, butter, milk, cinnamon, and clumpy brown sugar :)

A tip to soften your brown sugar - put a slice of bread in the container.

We have a medallion that is made for that...I think it's a clay thing, but not glazed. It works great! Better than having concerns about bread or cracker getting blue mold after absorbing that moisture. You can probably find them in any housewares store, like Bed Bath & Beyond...or maybe even in a Target.

.,,yeah but that's generally more expensive than a few grains of rice or a saltine cracker, especially at places like BB&B or Kitchen Kaboodle. Those are stores for the upscale crowd, not us plebs.

If you don't keep an eye on your foodstuffs, than there is only one to blame for them going bad.

Really? I think this thing cost us a dollar.

    Dana

maybe one of those could keep the gingerman cookies crisp? i end up eating the whole package in one morning. %-P

it's just called medallion? seeing if amazon haz em.

    high specular :)

came out a lil too heavy. more brownie than cake like. all-purpose flour and pastry flour 2 different species. there no eggs in the recipe, but 3/4 c. unsalted butter. hmmm cornstarch <> fluffier. next time will try upping the baking powder ... or baking soda.

...cloudy, cold, blustery, on and off rain. Good day to stay inside. Glad I chose to do the shopping run yesterday.

Wisconsin rebounded from that terrible loss last week, beating up on Purdue yesterday, 41 - 10

Green Bay is ahead of Cincinnati 30 -21 in the 3rd

Arsenal beat up on Stoke city 3 - 1

Manchester United was upset by Manchester City 4 -1 (Man U is considered by some to be akin to the "NY Yankees" of the Premier League).

    ...arrrrrgh!

3rd Quarter totally in command with a16 point lead. Then, two interceptions and a fumble turned it into a 34 - 30 loss.

    Sloppy sloppy sloppy!

If I were coach Mike, I'd pull a "Lombardi", giving them all bus tickets to get back to Green Bay and take the plane back by myself.

Then next week no time off and drill drill drill till they get it right!

Not really in response to you, KK, I just made the observation yesterday while hanging out with some friends, that for a lot of sports fans:

When their team wins, "They played a great game!"

When their team loses, "They beat themselves!" or
"The officials must have been fans of (the other team)!" or
"They just couldn't catch a break!" or
    "What was (the coach) thinking?!"

Never, "The other team is just better than them." :)

...I read the recap, it was clearly a case of two things: four starters knocked out of the game with injuries and QB Rodgers trying to put the entire weight of the game on his shoulders again (hence the interceptions). All totalled Green Bay had 4 turnovers, three which resulted in TDs for the Bungles.

We lost not only our starting tight end, but two running backs (our other starting back didn't even play as he received concussion last week on a cheap shot hit) and our primary linebacker/pass rusher. Looks to be a long, long season of frustration again...

Of course, there can actually be circumstances that affect the outcome (like key players side-lined by injuries). :)

Rigging problem yes, adjusting the slope of the shoulders at the collar part seems to help the conformer but the actual garment often needs tweaking as well.

at least Green Bay was doing well to start... Washington can't gets its feet under it to do anything it seems.

as figures go, m4's elbows and shoulders look best to me. sometimes his hands get hugely perspectived.
maybe some dynamic draping, if it can drape without stretching polys. hmm hmmm hmmmm

sigh, when i feel frustrated my buppy senses it. a late night snack should calm him down.
