trying to make up a list of animated poses i should make before putting the scene together. making the building blocks first. :) hopes.
going through some pose sets. - haz too many. omg. lol

    M4, V4, A2, Vila, Telka, Fon, hmm. TY2, Ben.
single stride, (run, sprint, walk, up hill, down hill, up stair, down a step, head ache, happy, depressed, relaxed, tense)
    half stride, turn
    teetering stop
    yawn
    sneeze
    sniff
    bad smell

Selfie in FFVIII does that thing with her feet when you leave her standing too long. iz cute.

letting poser count between too many keyframes, the movement is too smooth. people don't walk like that.except maybe in a parade.

voice changer s/w shipped. i know movies are shot out of sequence. i don't have a storyboard. thaz bad, eh?

If you want to skip a storyboard at least try to sketch out the start and end of each scene so you know the end of the previous and start of the next scenes will match :>)

Nice. What's missing? Hey, is that the free lecture hall over at Renderosity? I saw that last night and thought it was pretty nice for free. I think it's by TrueForm. I wasn't ready for downloading yet. I do that in spurts...err, maybe you could call them binges. :red: I go freebie downloading and spend an hour or two sometimes. I used to do it every day, but I slacked off and now I'll never catch up over at ShareCG. There's just too much new stuff every day. Before I know it a couple months have passed by.

Just checked the Product library and apparently this is one that slipped past the conversion a DIM ready .zip. Still has to be manually downloaded and installed (this means if there is ever an update, I'll never know).

Mention it to someone and they'll probably get it updated. I think the only things that can't use the DIM are actual applications, they still need to be installed. You wouldn't want to go put in Registry entries manually, right? :)

I don't use the DIM, still don't like the idea.

Oh! I have that! :shut: The promos don't do it justice. I also have Corridors, The Classroom, The Playschool and The Diner from that series. You should check out the Lecture Hall, though, over at Renderosity Free Stuff. It looks really good. It is different from that now that I look.

Also if they update the product they'll probably put it in DIM version at that time so it will show up in your DIM ready to be downloaded tab. I get a couple of older products a week showing up in mine.

Of course you'll want to install it to the same path that DIM would install it to so that it gets updated properly.

And thanks for pointing this out. I purchased that yesterday but it was in with a bunch of other stuff I had been saving up for so I never noticed it didn't download. I had plans for using it next week so I'd have been digging around for hours trying to find it.

You just had to make me look at the Townhouse, didn't you? Mine now. :) Download both the .exe files. When you run them, make sure they install where you want them.
BTW, there is a prop set that is sold separately, which is needed if you like the product look in the promo shots (cheap now). I did and I bought it too. :)

And the tree is not included (gripe). :-/
Oh, and to answer your question, you'll know there's an update when it shows up in the to be downloaded panel.
So it'll be in our Runtimes twice (shrug).
Now I gotta see if I have a pretty little tree somewhere.

...however, if this is a school group, it usually always is the teacher who gets "volunteered".

...well I do have a proper post box from Macleans "Streets" (as well as the traditional call box) as well as a number of different street props from other sets (like Le Village) that will work. I know it's only 4$ right now but until I get this situation with my UC extension settled, I have to go "cold turkey" on any content purchases.

It makes a very pretty Townhouse Row. :)
Oddly, the Props pack does show up in the DIM.

No, it's a real building. People live there. ;-P
Right, no backside to the building. There are dummy rooms you can place behind the building.
But isn't life itself a bit of a facade, Dana? :)

Predatron's Pred Pak Saplings, or maybe The Rowan (Mountain Ash) would go good there. Also, but no longer here, LB's Cherry Trees.

    Render drop.
    "Uh-Oh Pt 2: Scat Cat!"
The Cat decided to change his dinner plans, as he had suddenly lost his appetite. “Besides”, he told himself, “that Mouse is probably too tough to chew, anyway.”
The Mouse quietly (but warily) enjoyed a meal of what he thought was a fine cheddar.
    The End.

I know Congress is...but that would be political talk.

But life would fall under philosophy. Those are both off limits in the TOS, aren't they?

So, if I were to say...

Life sucks, then you pay taxes, then you die...then you pay more taxes!

That would violate several rules all in one! :shut: :-P

Complaint: Starting to give up hope that Thea Render will ever be available for Cinema 4D. Last several "major" updates have been for 3DSMax, and after several months of maxmaxmax, a new plugin is announced... For SketchUp. Then a few more months of maxmaxmax... And this time, it's Blender. =/

Cinema v12 has a Thea plugin, but it's only an exporter script, and the integrated one (Like Indigo, Vray, and Maxwell have) was "planned" - notice the "s - to be released for v13 soon.... Sooooooooon... But nothing much was said. Then R14 came out. Then R15. And all the updates for the render engine? Maxmaxmaxmax. And some other programs too but mostly 3DSMax.

I dunno if it really matters though - don't I already have enough render engines to play with? XD
