Better to make a new IK chain and leave the existing ones turned off, are you making a tail?

I guess. You can turn IK's on on one leg and drag the hip around, bend the other leg to suit 8-)
Nice. What's missing? Hey, is that the free lecture hall over at Renderosity? I saw that last night and thought it was pretty nice for free. I think it's by TrueForm. I wasn't ready for downloading yet. I do that in spurts...err, maybe you could call them binges. :red: I go freebie downloading and spend an hour or two sometimes. I used to do it every day, but I slacked off and now I'll never catch up over at ShareCG. There's just too much new stuff every day. Before I know it a couple months have passed by.

Fun with chkdsk. Here is more proof that my hard drive is going bad. I am still waiting for a new drive.
I might be able to pick up a few PA items today, but I put in more in my cart than I can get get. I have to take some items out I think.

looking for alternatives to the hip as center of gravity. giving up on the walk designer, too.
my favorite walking gate is Kai's undead assassin chic. :)
maybe the pafest-10 coupie is still working. don't forget the pro bundles for 3 pa items. i forgot those, doh.
trying to make up a list of animated poses i should make before putting the scene together. making the building blocks first. :) hopes.
going through some pose sets. - haz too many. omg. lol
M4, V4, A2, Vila, Telka, Fon, hmm. TY2, Ben.
single stride, (run, sprint, walk, up hill, down hill, up stair, down a step, head ache, happy, depressed, relaxed, tense)
half stride, turn
teetering stop
yawn
sneeze
sniff
bad smell
Selfie in FFVIII does that thing with her feet when you leave her standing too long. iz cute.
letting poser count between too many keyframes, the movement is too smooth. people don't walk like that.except maybe in a parade.
voice changer s/w shipped. i know movies are shot out of sequence. i don't have a storyboard. thaz bad, eh?
oh dear. going to be dark before i get home. going to be dark when i start off to the bus stop tomorrow.
Sunset at 6:34 pm
Sunrise at 6:50 am
should i start a sketchbook for the making of the movie? :)
Sounds like you need to run a disk check from DOS before the OS mounts the disk, does DOS still exist? When you see one grab a Linux "Live" distro on CD, you can boot from CD and run disk utilities and so on, very useful if you come across a magazine with a cover DVD. Are there any tech magazines left? Compliant: feel old
...I think there are, but haven't been to the newsstand in a long time. Are there any still in business? I know a number of metropolitan dailies have ceased printing actual newspapers and gone totally to on line subscriptions (that will be fun when a big solar flare hits), Heck, you can read magazines, even comic books on line today.
There is the Command Shell that looks and works like DOS, but not as an actual OS on it's own.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I remember when my company was evaluating new shipping software that worked in Windoze. We had to run a side by side test with the current software we were using for several weeks, and surprisingly (or not), the DOS application was actually faster because you didn't have to wait for dll calls and screen refreshes. The only function that was simplified by the new software was running the shipping reports at the end of the day.
...the teacher?
Nice.
...that just makes the workday seem all that much longer. I need to move to Hawai'i or Guam where the length of daytime doesn't vary much throughout the year (and it's consistently warmer).
ohh mann. my savings account went below minimum balance cuz i took money out for the pasale. 10 dollar service charge. cancels out what i saved with the coupie.
...ooooh, Mr Sun and Mr. Blue Sky have made an appearance today in spite of the gloomy forecast. Good time to get out and take care of a few things.
Now I've ELO stuck in my head (not a bad thing, I love ELO). :)
You don't really need a storyboard but you at least need a scene list. If you have a script it's really not that hard to put together a list of scenes. Once you have that list you can go back and start adding details for what each scene needs (animations, lighting, sets, props etc).

When I worked in a shipping room years ago I ran into the same thing. Actually, it was the Pitney-Bowes salesman that ran into me. He convinced my boss to let him demo the new scale. It was digital rather than microfiche. You put the package on the scale, let it settle, then get the shipping fee for the zone you want. The only problem was, the fees were based on anything a hair over the full pound. So if the package was a little over 5 pounds, it was 6 pounds. I knew that. But the scale had to wait for it to settle before it showed the price. I knew the fees for all eight zones for 1 through 12 pounds, and some up to 16 pounds, where most of our packages were. So I would already know the price as soon as I put the package on the scale. I had set the meter and pushed out a stamp before the scale had settled. The salesman was flabbergasted! He told my boss he'd never seen anyone so fast. Actually, that's the first time I was ever accused of being fast. My boss had a new appreciation for my work, though. And I saved the company a bundle on the scale...he sent it packing.

Sorry to hear that.

...so do I an that is one of my favourite songs by them.
...OK a little annoyed. Purchased the Townhouse last night and it still isn't showing in the DIM Ready to DL tab. I always have it set to most recent order date so it should be right at the top. The order went through OK as I received the confirmation email.
i finally got my new hard drive. the bad news is that I am having issues copying files from the bad drive to the new drive.
I spent like two hours trying to boot windows after I installed the new drive. Long story short: First I got a drive not found error. I finally was able to start chkdsk again. The screen now reads: file record segment is unreadable. I'll keep everyone posted.
I just want my files that I wasn't able to copy to the external drive. Hopefully they are on the part of the disk that doesn't have bad sectors.
Edit: Somebody mentioned DOS.
Dos doesn't really exist after Windows 98. Most DOS-based programs do run under 32-bit Windows though. Although the command prompt and safe mode recovery console look like a DOS command screen. Wish I could chat some more but I need to get ready for dinner and check CHKDSK.
...checking the CHKDSK, is that like Watching the Watcher?

i should do it in excel so i can drag the cells around if need be.

the mothership :)
Sorry to hear that.
Dana
thanks. :) oh well.
is that different than looking at the product library?
...yes. If you have the DIM installed, any regular content purchases should automatically how up in the To Be Downloaded tab.
Just checked the Product library and apparently this is one that slipped past the conversion a DIM ready .zip. Still has to be manually downloaded and installed (this means if there is ever an update, I'll never know).
 thanks I need the laugh. Chkdsk is still running after an hour. Hopefully the folder "My Documents\Daz" will still be intact.
