I am trying to figure out how to download the latest version of zbrush.
You just run the installer. What the issue your having?
I do not have the installer. I need to redownload the installer.
Log into your account on zBrush website and redownload it
wishing it would show the groups in the geometry graph or outliner or something similar.
That was easy. I just got up from a nap and that seemed to help clear some of the cobwebs in my brain.
Is Wings still free?
wings is still free and fabulous.
just finished uv mapping this thing. is 820 polys a lot for wine glass?
wanting to finish some props for trampy m4, tee hee
Or he could just have a skin condition. :)
Not as easy when the chicken is still alive though. :)
 Oppa Medieval Gangnam Style!
Not as easy when the chicken is still alive though. :)
I do not eat live chickens. I doubt I can hurt a chicken. I did not grow up on a farm.
I had an idea for a render once where a dragon would be sitting in a comfortable chair reading a book with human heads mounted on the walls like people do with hunting trophies. I never did make the render though.
I've seen a cartoon on those lines, but it was a deer reading the newspaper, I think.

Sounds like a Far Side. I read a lot of those. I don't know if my idea predates that, but it is a very old idea of mine. I could never get the Mill Dragon to pose for me, so...
I want to play with iClone but I can't find the serial number to install it.
Are you looking in My Serial Numbers in My Account. If its not showing in there you may need to file a support ticket
I called Daz and they filed a ticket.
Morning. Cold south wind blew all the grey clouds away overnight and left a big bright but cold sun-kissed blue sky day for us so far.
I always get nervous about sending in support tickets. I do not know why. I guess it has to do with my negative thinking. I am trying to think more positive but it is hard.
Support at DAZ is top notch. You won't find a bunch of nicer people
I am having a difficult time downloading it. Hopefully a third try is a charm.
It is dinner time so I got to get away from the computer. the third try failed again.
There downloads are always slow
It got cold here today. The high in my town was 53 (F) today. Inside it was only 64 at the warmest part of the day...so I opened up the vents downstairs and turned the heat on. That's too cold for me. My hands get cold and stiff and I can barely even type. I hate that!

...be glad you're not in Russia, seems traffic incidents are a normal way of life there. From what I have seen on YouTube, I don't think the "Proletariat" really knows how to drive all that well (makes motorists here in Portland look like saints), or at the very least know what the brake pedal, turn signals, and mirrors are for.
Lots of rear-enders when something ahead slows or stops traffic. I've seen where the car the camera is in approaches stalled traffic ahead (brake lights of other cars quite visible) but the driver just keeps going along at speed, not even thinking of slowing down until he or she hits one of the stopped cars.
Red light and stop sign running seems to be a normal occurrence in the city often resulting in nasty T-Bone crashes.
Next on the list is bad judgment on when to make a turn. There are a number of "blind-side" crashes where the driver of a car turning right cannot see the cross traffic and simply pulls out hoping it is clear. Then there are the left turn collisions where the driver believes the oncoming traffic bearing down on them will stop to let them make the turn.
There are also numerous incidents where motorists apparently pull out blindly from parking spaces or change lanes without checking and signaling first. Some appear to suffer from tunnel vision as they don't relaise there is a vehicle in the lane right next to them.
There are a number of head on crashes as well, both on the highways and in particular on some of the narrow streets of Moscow. In the latter case, seems neither driver is willing to give way and they just keep motoring on ahead until they hit each other. On the highways it's usually very bad judgement as when to pass and not to pass.
Excessive speed also seems to be a major issue (particularly in bad conditions like heavy rain, snow, and ice - you'd think they knew how to deal with winter there, but it's not very apparent). A car will often go speeding past another then just start swerving often going into a spinout, colliding with oncoming traffic or obstacle long the side of the street (like parked cars) or going off the road in rural areas.
Road rage can get really nasty there. Form fisticuffs to beatings, to running people over, to even guns being drawn and fired.
Roads in Russia are not all that great either (keep in mind it wasn't long ago that driving was pretty much a luxury allowed mainly to members of the Polutburo, the military and few "chosen" private citizens, so street improvement and highway construction was not as big a priority under the former regime as it is here in the States). Add to that, the harsh Russian winters which takes a toll on road and street surfaces.
It's not just cars either, trucks (some of the worst offenders), city buses, and even trams seem to ignore any rules of the road (if there even are any) as well. I never see any speed limit and few traffic regulation signs in these videos which makes it look like a free for all. What traffic control signals they have at intersections are strange in that the lights "strobe" rather than remain steady and frequently are not all that visible from a distance.
To be a pedestrian in Moscow looks to be a frightening experience and don't even think about riding a bike.
Just about everyone who drives in Russia has a dashboard camera (hence the proliferation of video footage) because the legal system is so corrupt and it's pretty much one motorist's word against another's. If a wreck involves a government official, the burden for proof of fault is often shifted to the "normal" citizen even in cases where the official was the one who caused the incident (some things never change).
So while we have our share of careless and clueless drivers here, there are places where it's a lot worse.
Okay I hope the fourth time is a charm.
I have been in too many car accidents. One of them totaled my car. I have seen car accidents too. Even one on the autobon, but I don't remember much about it since that was over ten years ago.
..yeah ones on the Autobahn can be pretty bad because of the unrestricted speed in rural areas. Saw the aftermath of one where a Porsche slammed into a bridge pier. The driver must have been going area fairly high rate of speed as the debris was sprayed over a wide area of the roadway, most of which, save for the tyres and engine block, was not much larger than a tin of Altoids.
Also saw the results of another high speed crash here in the States (in my old hometown many years ago) where a Corvette, which was racing another car by the airport, went out of control and slammed broadside into the middle barrier of a tunnel under a runway The front axle, engine block, and bumper were more than halfway down in one side of the tunnel, the back end about the same distance in the other. The middle of the car (and occupant) pretty much ceased to exist from the force of the impact
...OK, this was weird. Downloaded the two freebies for today and when I clicked on the 'Ready to Install" tab, one of them (The Rock Demon) didn't appear.
I think this doll needs a belly ring or something.
