...OK, this was weird. Downloaded the two freebies for today and when I clicked on the 'Ready to Install" tab, one of them (The Rock Demon) didn't appear.

    It shows up for me

I looked up belly ring and Daz store thought I was looking up bullring. Are there any piercing packs for G2F?

..yeah ones on the Autobahn can be pretty bad because of the unrestricted speed in rural areas. Saw the aftermath of one where a Porsche slammed into a bridge pier. The driver must have been going area fairly high rate of speed as the debris was sprayed over a wide area of the roadway, most of which, save for the tyres and engine block, was not much larger than a tin of Altoids.

Also saw the results of another high speed crash here in the States (in my old hometown many years ago) where a Corvette, which was racing another car by the airport, went out of control and slammed broadside into the middle barrier of a tunnel under a runway The front axle, engine block, and bumper were more than halfway down in one side of the tunnel, the back end about the same distance in the other. The middle of the car (and occupant) pretty much ceased to exist from the force of the impact

    oh mannn.

here it's the friggin traffic cameras. 1st car was braking hard for the just turned red light. car 2 was still trying to make the light. it's the kinda thing you can only pray everyone survives it.

Morning. Cold south wind blew all the grey clouds away overnight and left a big bright but cold sun-kissed blue sky day for us so far.

It got cold here today. The high in my town was 53 (F) today. Inside it was only 64 at the warmest part of the day...so I opened up the vents downstairs and turned the heat on. That's too cold for me. My hands get cold and stiff and I can barely even type. I hate that!

    going down to 35F tnite.

the draft stopper thingees do make a difference.

i'll try to render a scene at 1024 x 768 to see how long 3Delight takes. I'll swap out the hair with transparency layers for some other hair though.

And that 64 was at the thermostat...which is at about my eye level. So down where we sit, it's lower. It was probably about 60. Draft stoppers are good, I have one downstairs in the basement door. But this isn't from draft, it's because I hadn't turned on the heat yet this season. It's better now.

We have natural gas for our heat and cooking. But the news said that is going up this year. I don't keep it as high as I used to. We'll see what the damage is this year.

i heard natural gas is better than oil.

we're on a dead end, there's no gas option available. have oil heat and electric stove.

Apply the Elite Human Surface shaders. Here is an old tutorial for Daz Studio 3: How to use the Elite Human Surface Shaders

I forgot where the EHSS shaders are in Studio 4. I think they are in the shaders folder under Daz Studio files. Sorry, I can't check now. I'm using another computer now.

Edit: I found one of my old screenshots online from an online backup. Hope this helps.

Edit 2: after you load the Human Surface Shader, you can turn on Fresnel, Velvet and Subsurface scattering. You may want to reduce the specular strength.

Well, it's certainly cleaner. And to my knowledge, all the great chefs prefer gas to electric. I don't have to worry about a tank running low, or leaking. I've had natural gas for cooking and heating since I've been married, and many years when I was young as well. Never had a gas leak problem.

Small is good when testing, speed-wise though.
