Susie: (giggles) "Snowball, get out of there! You can't go to the Halloween party, even if you are a black kitten.
Mo-om! Hurry up and take the picture! We're gonna miss the party!"
Mother: "Oh, sweetie, you're so cute! Just a few more...I want to be sure to get a good one for Grandma."
    Susie: "OK, but please hurry!"
    Mother: "Smile!" (click)

Happy Halloween to my friends on the other side of the International Dateline! And Happy Halloween to the rest of you tomorrow!
    John

P.S. And that's why I made the Treats Bucket. :)

Very cute. I miss my kids dressing up and going out. We use to make a family thing out of it.

Emus are real big and get a lot of speed up with a very long stride, can be in your face you before you register how quick they move. There is an Emu constellation :>) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Aboriginal_astronomy

Emu didn't talk (at least not initially) - talking is superfluous when extreme violence is available.

Mr. Richard Haseltine is back. I was wondering where he went. I guess he was taking cover from the big storm that hit Europe a few days ago.

I'm going to Youtube to look for videos of birds in Australia. later

It was so long ago that I last saw Rod Hull, I thought he was a ventriloquist; but he was a puppeteer. I apologize to Mr. Hull and his emu.
