@ ed3D: I have the feeling the robot is he good guy in the story

Wanted to do something with the "junkhead" found in freestuff: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/313491/junkhead-free-low-poly-robot

It's an animated gif but doesn't seem to work here.

I thought I already reacted to the last entries earlier, but apparently not.

Jamahoney: Lovely lineup. What’s the red one blushing about?

Adbc: Your exploration bot appears to be well prepared to study that dangerous tree!

Henryhor: I love your third foot entry. Very funny and well made. And the roaring Filmbot could be the new start for movies that are made fully automated, based on some algorithm.

Dan Whiteside: Such a lovely family. Great idea.

Ed3D: For me the ‘night bot’ render is a bit dark. But I pity those bots, what a bad luck. He one with the fence and the ‘peeping bot’ is a great idea and well made too.

    Diomede: Nice entry, well done.

Dan Whiteside: I love your Robot-Family.

    ed3d: Nice entries both.

Ed3D - adding the hands was a great idea, well done.

Henryhor - cool idea, bots getting into movie making. From previous experience I know, we can't upload animated gif; normally I'll upload else where and then post a link. I love animations and look forward to seeing it.

Yellow Pen - awesome modeling.Superb entry.

thanks mtnmen, Horo, adbc, Jamahoney, Mermaid for your nice comments. I'm glad that you like my little Robbies...

ed3d: yes, they are from Silent running.

Henryhor: who are Moe, Larry and Curly?

  • HenryhorHenryhor Posts: 258

@ Yellow Pen: Moe, Harry and Curly were the three Stooges. They would not have been able to control the energy system smiley

@ mermaid010: thanks for the explanation. The Bryce animation was too big so I converted it to Gif. But it's not such a masterpiece it needs absolutely to be uploaded. I assume everybody can imagine the junkhead opening and shutting his mouth.

Yellow Pen: Thanks. I like Huey, Dewey and Louie (weren't they the nephews of Donald?) Looks like they are having a conversation in the hallway at the moment. And I agree with the others: great Bryce modelling!

  • Yellow PenYellow Pen Posts: 920

thanks Hansmar. And, yes... the names are  from the nephews of Donald. But they are given in the Movie, not by me. (Silent running)smiley

Great work, everyone.  Just circling back so will comment more when I get more time.  But I have to say something about YellowPen's awesome work on Silent Running.

Wow, @YellowPen, the Silent Running robots were modeled with Bryce?  I am very impressed with the image and the modeling.  I have been working on a 2nd entry using a model inspired by the same movie.  For a Carrara chalenge some time ago, I used the spline modeler, but the UVs get screwed up a little when exporting to Bryce.

Here is my old Carrara project.  It had the robot inside the forest dome.  For Bryce, I am working on a scene with a robot repairing the spaceship exterior with Bryce trees in a space dome in the background.
