I think all thats left is furniture for a conference room and a office, and all the textures (thats the part that I slow down at, then start new projects)

Are you still planning to release your TOS to TNG bridge?

You guys ready for the next chapter in the merged textures story?

Since I couldn't export/import in obj, I thought I'd try a different format. I tried .3ds and got the same results.
But, I then tried Lightwave. Now, with every version of Poser I've ever had, I've always had problems importing Lightwave files. But, I gave it a try. I exported/imported in lightwave.
It imported with every material zone right where it belonged.
I applied the textures, then exported THAT file as an obj. Then I imported that file.
It imported with all the material zones in place.

Now explain that one to me.

OKay, update time. This is one of two T-sections I'm planning. The other one will be for corridors coming from the outer areas of the ship. The area in the blue box- top row, center pic-, will be the actual T-section. I still need to add the duct work and the alert lights.
Right now, I'm having to export the sections as Lightwave and take them into Poseray in order to make an obj file that Poser Pro will accept- in and around the on-going hanging and crashing.
Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper right now.

So far, I've always managed to get my books done some how. I'm not giving in just yet. :smirk:

Update time again. Still lots of bits and pieces to put in place and the top three sections still have to be exported, but the big pieces are in place now.

That'll make a very useful update to your first corridor set, Madison. Looks good.

Rick, I think I can safely say that most of us will be looking forward to it. ;)

Basically, it means you've posted a lot (i.e., you're a particularly active member of the forums).

    From the Forum FAQ:
"(ranks appear below your username in topics and on your profile depending on the style used). Most boards use ranks to indicate the number of posts you have made and to identify certain users. For example, moderators and administrators may have a special rank. Please do not abuse the board by posting unnecessarily just to increase your rank—you will probably find the moderator or administrator will simply lower your post count."

    Ow.

Looks to me like a multi-species seat that's similarly comfortable (or un-) to any member of a ship's crew, whether or not they're humanoid. I'd like to see a Horta try it out for size.

He/she/it would probably like the taste- especially if it's crunchy. :-)

The arrangement of spheres and rods of your mesh (and the piece of furniture upon which Michael Dorn is sitting in the screen capture you've provided) is reminiscent of an Orerry, a physical model that represents the heavens, usually the planets of the solar system.

Since it's a "chair" within the context here, Gneiss Guy tagged the suffix "cliner" in order to be humorous.

(From the peanut gallery, "Thank you, Mr. Spock! Now stop being a know-it-all!")

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Most everyone is probably watching the Olympics. Me, I'm still building corridors. :)
