Finishing the last 10 pages of my next graphic novel. The sequel to my first graphic novel. I promise the graphics will be better than the first one!

.... bought a TRIBBLE!!!! An official ST Tribble.

That's a kool item to tell people about that have never heard of them.
    Bought a Tribble.
    a what?
A Tribble. Can't feed them or they'll breed faster than rabbits.
    huh?
And must keep them away from Klingons.
They start to clue in ....
And must keep them away from Ventilator shafts ...
    You don't feed it?
No. Not unless you want a whole bunch of 'em.

So far everything pictured is part of the prop, except the bed, the rest of the furniture will be sepretly done, but I'm not sure how it will all come together in the final set. This is the second time I've done this set and I'm happy with the room but I have nothing for a hall outside, is that ok? No I need something there I think.... I'm also redoing the crew rooms too and I'm going to furnish it all this time. I think you all will like them better than my less furnished rooms. May take more time though, to do all the plants and nick-nacks,hopefully I don't get bored with it before II get done. I think doing all the detail in props will keep my going... :)

Hey I got plenty of time yet. At a year a book, I've got at least 2 years yet before I need it.

USS Sotherland Full Deck has been sent to be made into Character set for Poser, just thought you may want to keep an eye out for it in the next few weeks,

Yes :-) Must also be careful to keep it away from "Targ". My "Targ" is overly interested in examining the possibilities of it being a food item.

Which reminds me, anybody know of any costume patterns to make a dog look more like a Targ. tia

I'll hedge a guess at the "typo-class". [jk]

Then again this might be a member of the "angry tribbles" class.

It's amazing how many of those there are, isn't it?

(I once spent a half-hour looking through my Runtime for that "USS Tammerlane" model I was sure was there...)

Yes, we could probably start a whole new fleet lol ...

Browsing through the forums, found a link for UV-Viewer which appears to be a very nice utility to "see" the already present uvmaps AND can save out .png files as large as you want 'em. :-)

Everyone is having so much fun! :D

Thought I'd pop my head in - been spending time on my "Cage 2.0" model, when not watching the Olympics, working, or helping out my mom after she took a spill on the ice (lousy scores from the Pelvis judge, unfortunately, but she's coming back nicely and may still compete in the next games); after working up the new forward areas of the bridge, I thought I'd take a whack at updating the 'island' a bit (actually, since I'm separating all the major components, you may also notice in the background that I've added some extra details to the lift, as well, gleaned from screen caps of "The Cage," where it appeared to have a pressure pad like a supermarket to open the doors ;) ). I've also been UV-mapping all the floor surfaces so carpet textures can be used - I've done that to my own models previously, but now I'm trying to get that shared with everyone else, too ;).

I'm not sure how the texture on the console came out like this, and I'm still having trouble making partially-reflective surfaces - they seem to all come out perfectly-reflective, even if I set the reflection value to something like .2, so clearly that's not the adjustment that needs to be made.

For those who've been waiting ... yes my modeling computer should be up and running in a week or two ...

In the meantime, I've been taking a listen to FL Studio 11 by image-line. Free demo but one can NOT use anything made with it publicly [not even free]. So yes I plan to buy the program ;-)
The Producer level includes a few plugins such as the one in this Youtube clip.

Entire program has way more than I'll ever need but sure looks like some fun to play with.
One can even make computerized voice clips typing some text. [not referring to the above clip]. One of them I managed to get sounding pretty Spock-like even.

Well I finally got around to posting the Mirror Universe bodysuit textures for V4. There are 23 textures and they work in both Poser and DS. you can find them on my DA page as well as my Mirror Trek page and I submitted it to the Star Trek Artists Unite page as well. This set was mae for Pauls Mirror Universe textures and I am showing them off using his newest girl Lt. Ving who will be showing up issome of his later comics.

Here is the link to my page to grab them.

Okay ... 'cept they only had a pink one. You'll have to re-colour it.
