My roommate thinks I am evil and spiteful. What does spiteful mean?

it means she wants to use your stuff and she has no concept of personal space.

or an immature effort to emotionally blackmail you into allowing her to use your stuff.

there's nothing to dooo. there be no pub pubs i can walk to, it's either pricey restaurant bar or sake balming. i just want a beer and talk to people. i have no one to talk to, just space bar dialog in my head imaginings. feeling too depressed to write it down.

Right now it's 21 F, feels like 11 F. And it says, "Expect snow later tonight!" Lovely.

Sorry you're so sad, Misty.

No... At least not yet anyway. I am learning to read Japanese, and while progress has been slow I am making some!

Still was very excited to get this (And it's never going to be released in the US anyway so *shrugs*)

...sounds like Portland might be a good place for you then. Less snowy icy weather, lots of close by affordable pubs if you don't live in the burbs.

...meanwhile here in the states they are currently getting sleet and ice in places like New Orleans LA, Mobile AL and Pensacola FL.

In some areas of the Carolinas as much as a foot of snow could fall.

Meanwhile In California and here in Oregon, it's been dry, very dry during what should be the wettest time of the year. It's really impacting farmers in California badly

The best we can get in the forecast here is for a chance of showers, not real drenching rains which in the Cascades turns to heavy snow. Our mountain snowpack is still far below normal which could lead to water use restrictions next summer in a region usually known for it's wet conditions.

Whole inch of snow here. That may not seem like much but it's a fine dry powder. I can't drive on it, there's zero traction.
And in my part of Tennessee, there's no such thing as a snow plow, and putting down salt would just make it turn into black ice by morning.
So...snow's over now, and after one more very cold day, it's supposed to warm up. This is not helping my bronchitis (but still slowly improving).
Hugs all around to those that need them.
