Meanwhile In California and here in Oregon, it's been dry, very dry during what should be the wettest time of the year. It's really impacting farmers in California badly

The best we can get in the forecast here is for a chance of showers, not real drenching rains which in the Cascades turns to heavy snow. Our mountain snowpack is still far below normal which could lead to water use restrictions next summer in a region usually known for it's wet conditions.

Yup. Something is vewy scwewy here.

I came back upstairs after my last reply here only to find that it hadn't actually posted, but rather had sent me to my account page. >:( It does get old after a while. I tried back and repost and back and repost...with no success. Then I just copied the entire post and went back twice. Then I clicked the button to make a new post, pasted it all and clicked the button...and it worked. That's really too much work. I almost want to say to hell with it and just walk away. Almost.

    Finally got some rain here.

...If you can call a periodical light drizzle rain :)
It's still sprinkling outside, but juuuuuuust barely. Heh, is more than what we got for the last few weeks and it was real cold out with loooots of grey clouds - so someone's gonna get some rain it looks like. It just... Wasn't us :(

...took one earlier today, ended up longer than I wanted.

Been taking more and more midday naps, been sleeping longer than I feel I should.

When I was still working I always felt very fatigued, but I chocked that up to the 13 hour long weekdays between the job and commute as well as the emotional drain of all the workplace politik.

However, even after a good night's sleep I find myself dragging, and sometimes sleeping long (more than 9 hours).

...part of me thinks iz becoming a cat.

...nah, it's probably just old age.

Droughts and fires often followed by floods, an interesting pattern. The Hume lake was down to ~4% by end of Aus drought, the heavy rain that followed exceeded the 100% in very very short time, Big change it was.

snow looks pretty. Be careful walking on the side of the road. I don't see a sidewalk. maybe the sidewalk is under the snow.

i just noticed that some suburbs outside of Washington, D.C. have no sidewalks either. In one place, there is no sidewalk between the bus stop and the office building. wow.

My computer is slow. But you already know that. Here is the game Rift with the video quality set to the lowest setting. I see jagged edges, dark surfaces and 16 frames per second in a city.

Image cropped to remove the boring stuff on the left.
