Well, I just tried installing it with the DIM, and it isn't working.
Figure metrics installed just fine, but measurement metrics did not.
Is it because I am running 4.6? The manual installer (which I tried after the DIM didn't install it) is showing a little screen that says 4.7... though I bought a plugin that said for version 4.5+
Possibly, the DAZ plug-ins do get updated along with DS and there have been other reports of the current version not working with 4.6. Do you need to stick with 4.6 rather than use 4.7?
4.7 wasn't out when this was released. Are there any problems with trying to use it in 4.7?
Not that I've noticed, and I was doing a bit with it the other day. As I said the actual DAZ plug-ins, as opposed to those from third parties, do get updated with DS.
Well, after sifting threw the past many pages. I see that 'rbtwhiz' has posted a screen-cap of this thing in the "Parameters" tab. I'm not seeing it there???

Is it supposed to be there by default, or somewhere else in Studio 4.7?
Rob's image shows a Measure Metrics node, attached to the figure. Your screen shot shows the base figure.
(face palm) :blank: I need to find this manual mentioned in former posts then. A node what? where do I get that? etc, etc, etc?
(EDIT, that 'man' is not listed in the first post???)
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/plugins/measure_metrics/startAh, it is descriptively linked on the product overview document, under "Process Overview". The page that is quite useless for getting some things going.

Did you put in the serial number?
Did you put in the serial number?I just found the 'manual'. Where is this serial number? How do I enter it? or is that for Studio not Measure Metrics?

"O" I should not have skipped the install part of the manual.
(EDIT)
Thanks Richard Haseltine and decoyboy, I think I can fumble threw the rest in a bit. I have a 'W1SRA' Sunday net to run in a bit.
Did you put in the serial number?
There was no place for me to PUT the serial number.
I looked in the "about installed plugins" and it is not listed in there.
I have an irrational fear of my other plugins (which work just fine) not working if I upgrade.
Well, while waiting for the customer support ticket to be addressed, I decided to give upgrading to 4.7 a try... still no luck.
I do see the plugin in the "about installed plugins" menu, but it has an error message:
There was no place for me to PUT the serial number.

In your account under serial numbers will be the number for measure metrics. I would do a capture but I do not have my laptop currently.
decoyboy, tad mix up. he has the number, and in the screen-cap, there is no place to enter them. It should be to the right of that plug symbol thing. I should have done a screen-cap before putting my number in, my bad there.
This is a bad install, a bad path, or something being in the wrong place. I don't know what one tho. I am of no help here.

Unfortunately, this was happening to me, so I had to update to 4.7, and it worked fine. What plugins are you afraid of breaking? If I have them I can check to see if they're working.
