What is your top favourite product at the moment?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering what everyone's favourite product is? Maybe a tool, a character you keep rendering, a go-to outfit perhaps or amazing scene?
My most recent favourite tool must be Mesh Grabber, it is an amazing tool to quickly edit small nags in your render. https://www.daz3d.com/mesh-grabber
I love this character : https://www.daz3d.com/uchenna-for-genesis-8-female , very interesting looks you can create!
So what is your favourite at the moment?

My favorite product would be still Cartoonized for G8F & Cartoonized for G8M
Easily Look at Me by RiverSoftArt. This one product makes my poses with more than one character look so much better. After it would probably be the Boss Pro Lights which work wonders for my lighting.
Since I used it every single day, I'll have to say Altern8 Skin Shader System - even though it's my own product and I'm sure it's annoying to some when someone "toots their own horn" lol. I use it in nearly every render so I have to be honest that it's my favorite product at the moment. :) However, if I had to pick something else that wasn't my own product I'd have to say it's Map Master Pro: https://www.daz3d.com/map-master-pro - it's been a God-send for me! My favorite part is that it will render all the material and preset icons for me and I don't even have to be in the same room as my computer. lol I can just set it up to render the icons, go do something else for a while and then when I come back they're done for me. I really love the product and can't recommend it enough for anyone who creates content for Daz Studio. :)
There are so many, it's hard to choose just one. I'll start with my current favourite lighting one: https://www.daz3d.com/easy-portraits--light-presets .
For anyone else listing their favourite products, please link them as well. It makes it so much easir for the others to check them out.
Also, might I recommend showcasing some renders done with that product if applicable?
Attached render is nothing special but the lighting setup was finished with a few clicks and I find it pretty good for portraits.
HowieFarkes UltraScenery....far and away :)
Laurie
Wow. That looks like it came out of Vue. I'm gonna have to check it out.
How long did that baby take to render?
Amazing render!
...crikey, I have to pick one item?
[looks over at gaming dice bag]
Rather than a single product I'll say it's more of a category which is utility/resource content, like morph, lighting, skin, and materials.
FSL Morphing Backdrop and Shaders https://www.daz3d.com/fsl-morphing-backdrop-and-shaders-for-iray
I got this reluctantly to trigger a sale. I never use the backdrop features, but I love the shaders and use them all the time:
Carrara
I agree about Altern8 - I can't live without it :)
I would say this https://www.daz3d.com/gwyn-hd-for-genesis-8-female not necessarily for the gorgeous character but for the Look At Me Eyes and Lashes that add a separate morphable eyelash figure that I use on pretty much every character.
I can't answer for this render, but in general UltraScenery renders very fast considering everything going on. A scene can take 15-30 minutes to generate, though, depending on your choices.
I've been using Sue a lot. When she was released, I knew she was going to be the main "actress" for the animated film I'm gearing up to do, so I've been doing a lot of test renders with different things.
https://www.daz3d.com/sue-character-and-hair-for-genesis-8-female
...I was that way with Steph4 for a long time until the Young Teens 5 for Genesis came out as she made a good base for teen characters thanks to the fact she was a more petite than Vicky (about 5' 5") and the NPMs.
All the "everyday" stuff by maclean are my favourites. Excellent stuff to put an "everyday" scene together with all the little bits and pieces I need.
Alright, let me take you up on the bolded part.
Tool: https://www.daz3d.com/look-at-me-ii-pose-control
This so awesome for when you need to change the camera angle and you want your character too look at the camera or somewhere else. In a few clicks, you can do that easily.
Character: https://www.daz3d.com/alexandra-8
She is one of the most feminine and most appealing figures available. She has this something in her that makes her a true character, not just a figure. In my opinion, the only true rivals for her are Mousso's ladies, even though they are all much younger.
Outfit: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-breakfast-date-outfit-textures
I am listing the textures pack, instead of the base product, because I like them much more.
Scene: https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-grass--meadow-worldbuilder
If you haven't already, seriously, do get this. The natural scene lights included are amazing. The whole set allows for many variations and supports your own creativity.
Interesting Look at me tool. For a long time I thought it just turns the eyes and maybe the head, which is easily done with the point at me for they eyes and the head with a few sliders. But with the chest and abdomen included it is very interesting. It still looks more like a nice to have than a must have but it's in my wishlist now in case it goes low enough.
Ultimate grass worldbuilder has been in my wishlist for some time now but with the Ultrascenery in the shop I think it will stay there a bit longer. Does anyone have both and can compare them? From renders and description, Ultrascenery, while maybe not as good at making huge areas of grass seems so much well-rounded.
Most of RiversoftArt's products are "work smarter, not harder" type. So, yes, a nice to have. A very convenient nice to have.
As for Ultrascenery, it is in my Wishlist, and I am just waiting for a better deal. I would like to have both. You know:
I added to my wishlist some items from this thread. Thanks.
My favourite is Babina, https://www.daz3d.com/babina-8 particularly the skin textures that used together with Skin Builder, https://www.daz3d.com/skin-builder-8-for-genesis-8-females makes great realistic looks.
Natural eyes is also a very good product, https://www.daz3d.com/natural-eyes-for-genesis-8
and Backlight Hair Shaders https://www.daz3d.com/backlight--hair-shaders-for-iray-
I put all together the products I mentioned in the attached picture.
In the 2020 releases :
No matter the time :
[Embarcadero C++ Builder, so I can write the software tools I need to make any other package I want capable of interfacing with DS.
]
Failing that, I do keep coming back to HinkyPunk's Aniyah as a character. https://www.daz3d.com/aniyah-for-darcy-8 and the other favourite character is Adam Thwaites' Jenny for G8F, who has a 'normal' shape compared to Aniyah's 'fashion model' shape.
Regards
Richard.
I use this particular batch of scripts a lot, and it's a freebie:
https://sharecg.com/v/76667/favorite/8/Script/Updated-Daz-Studio-Posing-Scripts-now-for-G3F
It also seems to work for G8F, at least for mirror pose and look at camera. These scripts are similar to the Riversoft ones, but I have occasional issues with the RS scripts. The SGApps Mirror Pose and Look at Camera just work, so I gave up on the Riversoft ones.
I haven't explored the other pose options in the package much, i.e. the partial pose scripts, but I'm sure they might be useful to others.
Great recommendations sofar. I picked up @Divamekeup suggestion, map master pro, and added quite a few to the wishlist. Babina 8 is wonderful indeed. Keep em coming!
As someone suggested, I added a quick Ucchena render.
I seldom make a render without using one of the tools in Ghost Light Kit-series - They're definitely saving me at lot of time, and is making great light every time.
I recently bought the UltraScenery, but it's totally killing my PC. Have to try out some of the good advice in the commercial thread.
Another vote for Howie Farkes's amazing Ultrascenery. This may change, however, when Herschel Hoffmeyer's Wyvern escapes into the wild.
Cheers,
Alex.
