Yes, L'Adair is right. I'm referring to the new layout where the daily promotions overlap each other. Maybe it's only in mobile. The old layout was easier to cycle through on mobile.
I almost use the DAZ store on mobile and I actually like it on mobile. Way better than Rendo's store in mobile version, which I totally hate. But the new layout makes it way more difficult to see the flash sales immediately.
It worked for me now - I could check-out with the Flash Sale. Thank you everyone. Yay Flash Sale, finally a Flash Sale again.
Interesting. I don't know why it reverted back to the old style for me, then. I'm on Chrome, with 4k resolution. (I'm fine with either format, so this is not a problem, I was just surprised.)
Same. It changes to the old scrolling layout if I'm on my IOS and using Safari though. If on my computer or on chrome on my IOS it's the new style.
Putting aside the teething issues I'm getting from it, I do think the new style looks attractive and sleek with my only bug being it's easy to miss a new banner being put up, such as a flash sale, due to the slowish speed of the carousel
Using Firefox under Windows 7 on my old laptop - used to read here and elsewhere in the evenings - and I'm seeing the old - non partially static - layout.
On my PC I'm running Windows 10 and Firefox there shows me the partially static layout. With a blank for today's Easter Basket Flashsale, which also seems to fail to display an oversized picture, that makes the lines of shop items below "jump" as soon as the flash sale is actively shown. Or not shown, as it isn't visible...
Major FU programmingwise I'd say...
Seems to be different for different people. I am using Chrome on a Windows 10 desktop and I never did see the new banner layout.

I see the new banner with Firefox on win10 desktop, and one of the panels is broken. It displays white and stretches banner height to 2x. That should be showing the easter-basket flash sale.
Am I correct, that Easter Basket flash sale won't work if you have 3+ items in cart from qualifying category?
It won't work if you have more than 3 as it wouldn't know which items to apply the discount to.
If you have 3 items, you get the discount on the 3 qualifying items. Put a fourth and it all pops back to today's price.
It's looking weird here in IE11. Looks OK in Firefox.
Ha -- Did anybody notice that most of the related "Easter" items have very little to do with Easter? The only relation seems to be that the title says eastern which contains the letters for Easter.

The new layout is probably under A/B testing by Daz. I've only ever seen it once and don't remember what I was using.

I see the old layout on Chrome and the new layout on Edge. My problem with it is that Fast Grab has such a big part of the screen while we only see one offer at a time.
If it were me who was designing this I would have made the constant 3 banners(PC+, Freebies and FastGrab) smaller and left more room for the other offers.
I would also make an image with all the offers to give an overview, before cyclying through the individual ones.
Of course, that would require extra work and someone to edit that overview image everyday. Something I don't think Daz wants so that's that.
I can say though that I don't really like today's layout either. The constant cycling of the banners gets tyring quick.
I wish they found a way to make it fixed. Maybe just add some permalinks to the constant 3 I mentioned above instead of banners. Why do we need banners for those as most of us have already seen plenty of times?
Why was there no info that this "Build your own flash sale" was only a one-day-promo?
Why is "Silent Winter" listed as PA on todays promo and his new product (there is a thread in the commerce section) not avaible? Also his PA page says 131 products but there is still just one?
don't know about your other questions but Silent Winter only has 4 products in his store in total, and three of them are new, so it would only be the one product in the sale. And it says "131" cos that's the total of all the PA's in that sale category but the vendor's name is checked to show.
I don't have any info on the flash sale. The 131 products is how many in the whole grouping for tonight's featured PA stores. I just used ATI's addon to show all artists together and removed hide what I own and it showed all 131. You're just seeing a filtered list when you select one PA's store. Flash sales rarely last past the end of day. Their whole point is that they don't last long, and are meant to encourage people to check the store often and make purchases under time pressure.
...not sure what is going on with the store page sort routine.
Tonight when I was looking through the "Select Good-Friday" items, I'm finding old and new content mixed together (like G8 and V4 content on the same )page even though the sort selection is set to "New Arrivals" For example, on p.1 Bryce 7.Pro is the first item the page page immediately followed by Genesis 8 Male expressions.and then i13 Scrubs for Genesis 3 Female (see attachment below). This is sort of frustrating. It should go from from the newest to oldest in this setting.
What is makes matters worse is when I change the page number to jump ahead using the browser link bar, it turns the filter to hide items I've already purchased off so those show on the page as well.
This is not the first time this has occurred as it also during the the MM sale as well.
My bad. Did not see that Silent Winter also made the "Arcade" product in todays sale. Am waiting for the "Trophy" product. Regarding the flash sale. Yep, that's right but as it was an option to build a flash sale on ones own I hoped it would stay a little longer.
When you land on the page, click it to "newest arrivals" - it'll change then to the correct way. I don't know why it happens but it's been doing it for a while.
The sort order on the page shows sort by new arrivals, but that is not what is seen in the url, since this is showing sort by popularity. DAZ has been doing this a lot recently. You need to edit the url to remove the sort order.
I am also surprised that Bryce 7 is showing as the fifth most popular (if you unhide Items Owned)

I've discovered so many amazing Gen - Gen 3 pieces, and safe to say my wishlist has grown by like 100 lol.
Can I ask, do the two codes (GOOD-FRIDAY and EVEN-BETTER-FRIDAY) work independent of one another? My meaning being, is the total offer actually three "free" items today if you use GOOD-FRIDAY on its own and then a seperate order of EVEN-BETTER-FRIDAY with a new release in cart? Or if you use the GOOD-FRIDAY code can you not also then use EVEN-BETTER-FRIDAY?
