Are there any PayPal problems at the moment???

My transaction at paypal went well, untill the page had to return to the Daz3D website. It somehow timed out on the Daz end. The order is still in my cart, while the payment at Paypal says "pending".

I'm having the same issue. Paypal refunded the amount a couple of hours later. I just tried to purchase using PayPal again and again it went to "pending" without success.

Ages ago I had a similar issue, and found a work around: empty the cart, buy a gift card for the amount required (strangely enough, that transaction proceeded), redeem the giftcard, refill the cart with desired products, and pay with the store credit.

I was just charged over $300 for something that should have costed under $70. Sort your cart issues and expect the bank to get in touch with you to correct that amount. They have been alerted as of 18:25 UK time. You can check the ticket with the evidence I submitted. Thanks.

I reported my issue with the Wierd Wild West bundles (both of them) in the Holt thread .. Eight of the packages included in the bundle did not install correctly. :( Still waiting for support to the ticket I entered for technical assistance. Not expecting anything here, just cross-posting so folk are aware of issues and any potential resolutions (once I get one.)

Edited for clarification that I did submit a ticket as well.

Please note that you are talking to forum members in this and any other thread in the forum,  not directly to Daz 3d.  And also you should wait for your ticket to go through before initiating anything with your bank,  that can actually delay matters.

  • Are there any PayPal problems at the moment???

Ordered several items a little while ago and the processing window timed out. Received a Paypal email that says the order is pending for compliance review.

I had the same problem a while ago, and after some delay Paypal reversed the payment. No reason was given, just that there were problems with some payments and they had to be reversed. It sounds as if Paypal is having problems, maybe with Daz, maybe in general. I tried the order again but paid with my cedit card this time and it went through with no problem.

I did try to contact Paypal support to tell them the transaction was valid andf authorised by me but I seemed to be talking to some extremely dumb script that had very few replies and kept asking if I wanted to cancel a payment, so I gave up.

Same problem, got refunded twice. And when I went through and deleted everything in my cart and re-added them, when I go to check out, it has me in some sort of "express paypal" which I have never used. And it won't let me change it. I was going to use another account, rather than just have locked again. I checked the store credit, and it shows being used and refunded today about 20 times....I think that is what is catching up at Paypal, basically it's not registering correctly and so is being caught as a bad glitch, thus, non- compliant.

I put in a ticket earlier before they refunded (paypal) my second try. Now do I wait and risk losing all the discounts in my cart?

Yeah, I just tried and no-go.  Same thing as above with others, I put through the order, because of the gift card, and now PayPal says pending, even though it didn't look like it went through....it came back after processing for a few minutes with the same screen asking me to pay.  Cart at DAZ is still full.

EDIT:  I had tried Amazon Pay at first, and it appeared as if it didn't go through at all, sent me back to DAZ with my full cart, which remained full after several refreshes.  So that was when I tried PayPal and the same thing happened.  After all that, I put it on my credit card.  Now I have one order that went through Amazon Pay and one that went through on my credit card.  Hopefully the help desk can get it all sorted.

    Infinity% off?

I kind of hope marketing runs with this in the future.

Was it right at Daz midnight?  I've had purchases jump up when buying just before midnight, when it takes a few seconds to complete and the prices change with the new day.

Just noticed an error on todays Weird West or Elvish Royalty sales page. The link to ChangelingChick in the Featured Artist Stores section is going to Mstene's page and ChangelingChick's page is not showing any discount.

    Thanks, I'll report it.

  • Neither PC+ membership is discounting. The front page has the sale listed, but when I add it the total isn't discounting, even though it should.

Try refreshing the cart. The discount appears correctly on the left side, that should correct the total.

Ok, I just tried it in a browser where I wasn't logged in and it worked properly.

    Edit: Perhaps try another browser.

This just made the discount go away altogether for me. I refreshed and now it's just 70. :(
  • Did the store credit issue ever get sorted out?

i have the same problem with the pc membership it starts on sale when your not logged in an goes to full price when you do and i have tried this on two diffrant browsers

  • edited August 2020

Okay, it's not just the store credit. I removed that from the cart, used a different paypal account, and I still can't get the cart to process, it just times out.I have cleared all my cookies like it was suggested, I have logged out and back into daz. I have removed everything from my cart, logged out, logged in and put everything back in, and still no joy. I can't even try to get anything from today's sales, because nothing is going through. Tried a different browser, same issue. It basically says that Daz is doing too many re-directs. I sent a ticket to helpdesk yesterday, but, obviously they are back logged. Anyone else have any ideas? I can't do a gift card, because I can't get any emails from Daz, only from the help desk, so I can't get my code until someone from the help desk sends it to me, so more waiting if I tried that.

The banner says it is only on sale for non-members. Aren't you already a PC+ member?
No, you aren't. I was confused, because it said "Member", but now I know that it doesn't mean PC+ member.

  • Similar problem trying to purchase pc+ membership.

Go to pc+ purchase page. Select the 3 month plan (which shows as $24 on the page). Goes in cart. Go to cart, left side shows the discount price as 14.40, right side shows grand total as $24. Refresh page. Now both places show $24. Clear cart. Go back to sales page. Refresh. Repeat process 6X. Same result.

I was a pc+ member until about a year and a half ago, when I canceled. Just to be sure, went to account page. Shows as canceled long ago.Give up.

Do they not want me back?

  • I am also have the same PC+ membership issue.

Click on your name link below your avatar. The information says you are a member already. Hmm. or ,maybe "Member" doesn't mean Platinum Club member. What other membership is there, though?

@ Barbult "Member" just means the preson is registered at DAZ. Click on my name or your name and you will see it says "Member, Platinum Club" That designates that you belong to the PC+ club.

  • Given the extent of shop screwups today, I suppose "member" could mean anything down in IT.

  • In case it wasn't brought up...  Gift cards are 35% off if you buy one of the three Holt items (and the GC is over $200).

@JasonGalterio How would you get to 35%? Even with my purple banner of 10%, I am only coming up to 27% (Holt8 new release + $200 GC + purple banner).

Bump your GC to $201 and check. It might need to be higher than $200.

If that doesn't work, you might need one of the "Aw Rats" new releases from a couple of days ago. I already purchased one and it might be recognizing the old purchase.

Or it could be different if you are not PC+?

Not really sure, the system isn't telling me where the discount is coming from.
