  • Is anybody else seeing that the taxes aren't rounding up when you go to check out?  When I look at it in my cart, my current cart has $3.17 for taxes.  If I start the checkout process, it defaults as that... and then changes to $3.1699999999999995.  (I know, I know, it's the same amount, but it is weiiiiiird.)

    Based on what brvsn said, I just tried to place my order again but it's still not reconnecting to Daz to complete the order, Im afraid.

    I don't know what is happening here.. I open a ticket about the issue but they did not explain what happened, even if they replied to the ticket.. the paypal email says generic things about security so I think it's important to have clear explanation

    Just for the record, I just placed an order for 2 items from the 50% off sale ( Mesh grabber rotations add on & Dial control) they both showed up 50 % off in my cart, added my monthly PA coupon which took off the 6.00$ checked out using store credit, processed instantly and shows up in DIM for download with no issues. Just downloaded and installed Dial control smoothly.

    I had no issues with my sale, but Mesh grabber shows no info in my Product library other than the blib about using Daz Central which I have no use for and refuse to test considering the numerous issues others have had with it,

    Try Daz Studio > Smart Content  (Product> All product selected in the tabs)  > you will have Available products at the button of the window. 

      If DIM and DAZ Central fails, this still works. XP

    ps: Don't forget to set it back to installed after you finished or you will be searching for your product, where have they gone missing. :)

    For example the RDNA sale includes quite a few older products which are tagged as compatible with "Daz Studio" and not "Daz Studio 4.12" on product page. So if your DIM filters are set to show only products for DS 4.5+ (which I think is the default) then they might not show up.

    If it's new products then that's not likely to be the problem though, more likely a problem with DIM or DIM servers, or maybe missing download files.

     I'm set up for all tags and I hide them manually as I 99%, don't buy old stuff so I don't have to do much about it. So even DAZ3 < and Poser (<9) should show up.

  • I can see the 40% off PC+ for new memebers (I've never had PC+) in the cart itself but it's not applying to the final price :/

    It has been flagged up to Daz; please be aware it is difficult to fix something when it works as expected for some and not others.

    I'm aware, don't worry, I used to own and operate Australia's largest webhosting and domainname registration service before becoming an IT consultant. I feel for the DAZ support team haha, I need to hug them.

    tha'ts not it, unfortunately.. 

    I bought a NEW G8F character and a few RDNA.. only one of the RDNA does not have DIM package but none of the items from the order are shopwing up..

    only clicking the Install with DIM from library seems to work (sometimes it doesn't), but as soon as hit the update button on DIM the item disappears again

    I  think they have a problem with Tara download for the 4-5th day now and they are trying to solve it, but that might have lead to other skeletons...

    DIM is missing all my purchases, granted there are only a few - I wasn't going to risk a large order.

    I will put in a ticket but if I can't download them tomorrow it will be a ticket requesting a refund.

    Yea I probablly could but thats my time wasted, I work six days a week and have tomorrrow off as its a holiday here in the UK, I'm not wasting it downloading and manuall installing stuff.

    you only need download the zips to the folder DIM installs from

    DIM will install them

    @Kharma, There was some odd issue with the Addon that for some reason requires the DIM installer. It's on Daz's end, and nothing the PA can do. Did you download and install the Addon via DIM? If so, you should be good to go, (assuming you already have Mesh Grabber, of course!) The Rotations Addon adds functionality to the existing Mesh Grabber, so you won't see another tool, but you will see addtional options in the Tool Settings tab. The Addon also requires the latest version of Mesh Grabber, so you may need to update that, if you haven't already.

    If you can't seem to download and install the Addon, the PA may be able to help. You can get help, and more info from the commercial thread for the Mesh Grabber Rotations Addon here, (if you need the link.)

    Just to mention that I reported the PC+ discount problem to Sales Support although I'm sure that I'm not the first to do so. The checkout is still not applying the discount to the Grand Total for me no matter what browser I use or whether I clear my browser cache before any attempt. 

  • It appears the 10% off cart for buying a Holt-related product are not applyed to the $2/$2.99 Genesis 2/3 Sales items.

    Same here. Gave up on it and ordered anyway because ist was like $2 I lost ... but still ist should work and I would have bought some more otherwise

    If it helps the IT team any, it looks to me like the problems related to the pc+ subscription have something to do with the "member" variable they're using. It's definately related to login. Logged out, everything seems to work, but of course you can't actually buy anything then. I've cleared caches on two computers and their browsers, one Ubuntu and one Win7, using firefox and chrome, and they both behave the same. I don't know if everyone having the problem used to be a pc+ member in the past who's trying to resubscribe, like I am, but if so, if "member" is interpreted as being someone who has merely registered with Daz instead of someone with an active subscription (there appear to be two different  'member' connotations in the software) then of couse there would be foulups. When I'm logged in I get all kinds of problems with the cart, and they appear to be related to being interpreted as a pc+ subscriber when I haven't been for almost 2 years now. There appears to be some kind of foulup in the cart software that thinks I'm a subscriber already, discount prices shown on the left at checkout change to regular price if I merely refresh the page. So it looks like one part of the cart software and another part may be checking two different variables.

    I'm not a wizbang programmer, but I did start programming back in the TRS80 days (1978) and I've since done assembly language, C, and C++ work as well as my current work in Unreal Engine, so I might be on the right track. Or not, given the nature of the beast.

    Is the PC discount still not working for you? It was modified, and working in our test cart, a little while ago.

    Just tried again and was able to complete the purchase. Thanks for fixing it. I have updated my support ticket as "solved".

    That also fixed the issue with free stuff showing as regular price.

     

    I paid for the annual subscription. Still miffed that a change was made mid-stream from 40% off either sub to only the annual sub, though.

    @LAdair I was able to download and install both items I bought without issue, what wasn't showing in my product library was the usual info regarding the items such as purchase date etc, now all it shows is the info about using Daz central. I wasn't happy about the l missing information we have become accustomed to seeing in our product library

    You’ll have to submit a ticket for that - older Rdna product, so it’ll have to go through support
