This deal is unimpressive, to say the least, but I want to know, how does Emmeline look like without Honni 8?
She's in my cart right now because of those HD scars, but I want to get an idea of what to expect because I didn't see any renders on G8F only, so I'm assuming she looks a bit weird (which I don't mind).
Yeah, I like getting things that I might use in the future to increase my options, and some of that stuff I could use, and I like the one hair a lot, I probably would have already bought it if I had got a banner. I guess that if you skip a couple of them they stop giving you banners, The last bundle I bought was Scar, and I was really hoping for a female in the same vein, but I guess they didn't make one, which sucks, because I likely would have bought that one in a heartbeat. I almost bought the aliens vs trooper thing, but that was a bit pricy for me so I passed on it after passing on the wrestling stuff and well basically everything since Scar. (When you are hoping something will be released and want to keep cash back for it you tend to pass on things a bit more.)
It feels really off to put a past outfit in a new pro bundle...
And three pose packs? Seriously?
Would have also been nice to see something new related to DH2.
Like others I am pondering over this one. Even though there are no extra give aways the 30 dollars of credit brings this down to the a pretty low price.
I like Honni herself, plus the characters, and the hair, but 3 pose/expression packs? However my biggest disappointment is the clothing. Same as with the Sahira bundle, there is absolutely nothing a woman of that era would have actually worn, save maybe the Vernae Fae, which would only be worn by one of the workers in a rather dubious saloon.
I already have a lot of characters and hair, so I mostly look at the clothing when considering a pro bundle, so I don't really know whether to go for this or not.
Last new bundle I bought was Valentino, which was further away than Scar, and I got the banner.
I'm in love! All this Honni stuff looks great to me. Unfortunately she'll need to remain on my wishlist for another few weeks at least.
Yeah I'm really grappling with this one. I like the sci-fi outfit because I'll use it for sci-fi stuff...but I really don't need three pose packs...and I have a personal dislike for dForce SBH (nothing against those hairs in particular, I just don't like dForce SBH other than when it's used for fur...I much prefer top-shelf trans-mapped hair). So I have everything in my cart, and with the purple banner I'm looking at about $59...but I know I'll get a $30 store credit added to my account tomorrow I can use on anything (which is nice). In addition, the purple banner gives 20% off the entire order, so I have three fast-grab items in my cart that I'm getting extra off on. So...struggle.
I don't actually need Wild West/Steampunk stuff, so i find little of interest here. The sci-fi(ish) outfit looks good, but as pointed before, is not something we haven't seen already.
The fact that it only has 3 outfits (i do not own the old one) is bad tho. That diminishes the value of a pro-bundle for me.
About the sale offer, what can i say. FINALLY!!! This is way better than select DO credit. If this has been with other theme closer to my taste and needs i would be all over it. So, while the pro bundle needs some corrections, please don't deviate on the sale promotion formula much.
Which promo? The sideswept one is Nesena Hair, but I don't know what the pretty hair clip is from. The short one from the very last promo is Karla Hair. The one in most of her basic promos is Monica Hair. Those are the only ones I recognise because they're so pretty and well made.

Especially as for pose packs..... in a pro bundle they are just filler. I have so many pose packs now I am good for a century.
Why is everyone judging the figure by what's in the bundles? I've never understood this logic.
Judging what the marketing department decide to bundle in with it should always be a secondary (if not non-existent) concern.
Because if there are a lot of things you like in a bundle, and the price is good, it may be worth buying even if you have no intention of ever using the character. IMHO, of course.
It's the cost, whether the included pieces are worth the cost of the bundle. Not whether the figure "looks like" she should be western or sci fi or whatever, but including an older outfit that a lot of us own ($1.99 in pc for a day in october last year), an extra pose pack etc is what is bugging most people.
I don't care whether a figure looks like it's a western or fantasy or whatever character, or even whether the included products in teh bundle are the same genre - but whether paying the pro bundle price for fewer outfits and more pose packs (and the one that bugs me the most, expression packs) is worth it.
I like everything in the bundle at least to an extent; finally bundles are coming with strand/dforce hair and I've stopped bothering about them as I now render in Blender, and they are a serious pain to convert.
I'll wait and see.
Just my two cents- but there's a lot of new users coming here lately and I think bundles including an older item or two that fit the theme and are well done (ie, not aged/look like V4 era) which Vernea Fae clearly fits the theme and quality. It helps people see stuff they may have missed and get into a new bundle.
We "old time" buyers get a lot of perks over the life time we've been here. We've gotten things on super sweet deals, we've either bought super early to get low intro bargain price or waited our sweet time to get a discount down the road.
I admit cowboys aren't my theme but weird west is a bit intriguing. i think the outfits were well done - my first thought looking at missi judge was, "i hope the buttons and stuff are rigid followers and not going to deform with poses or draping!" and yep, the description says so, YAY.
And the hair!!! The hair the hair the hair. Most of ya probably know i'm an avid fan of Chevybabe's hair because it's got morphs and doesnt HAVE to be simulated to render it, (but it can and does simulate beautifully). LOVE LOVE Windflower!!!!
I am not generally a huge fan of Aprily's new style of dhair, but even her newest ezra hair is nice looking too. my only feeling was that there was no setting to put the wild west and weirdness into. Maybe there will be more later, I don't know.

Just goes to show that everyone's tastes are different. i think Honni has one of the most distinctive faces for a Daz Oriiginal. I find the Kala / Honni mix pretty enchanting. I also found the Pro bundle pretty good as well, but then I've got a banner and will get 3 add-ons as well. I also have Vernea Fae but the other outfits all have some interesting elements for kit bashing. As fas as the pose packs, They all have some decent poses in them but I am of the opinion that people who no experience with firearms shouldn't make poses with same unless they do some research and vet them with people of experience. Otherwise said poses are laughable and often not worht te time to repair.
Can't please all of the people all of the time. No one has to buy anything.
Okay Daz, the core character Honni 8, all her files show up in Lost and Found in Smart Content! Loaded by DIM. I am used to recently having the eyebrows, or eyelashes, or the eye colors having to be fixed, but the all the files! Really? I am sorry but did anyone do a QC check on the product before it was released? Give Customer Service a break please.
Add dForce Windflower to that, part of the files ended up in Lost and Found too.

I love her, Steampunk is just my jam. Love the steam buggy. At first, I thought it was for the Daz horse so cute. Just waiting for all the glitchiness to subside and all the discounts applied to pull the trigger

She kind of reminds me of Rune 7. She's on the muscular side, but also full figured up top (although Rune was kind of excessive in that department).
Emmeline is the one that sealed the deal for me. That's quite the face. I don't know how much I'll use the scars, but I do like a good deal of creepy.
It's strange. She presents as Honni 8 - 0%.
Of course, her full name in the store is "Emmeline for Genesis 8 Female", so maybe she has no Honni 8 requirement.
EDIT: Also, she doesn't have Honni 8 as a requirement, so I think she has 0% Honni 8 for real. Amity does have a Honni 8 requirement, however.
Ugh, that Joker scar on Emmeline. Isn't Joker kind of old hat by now? And LOL, at the Morelia character with pistol muzzles for nostrils, I will say I've never saw that before but it is very scary for a video game. Otherwise, wow, the bundle is great but I wish the steam hooverboard, motorcycle, and carriage would of been included.
I know everybody likes to talk deals, and bundles, and add-one, and value, but has anybody picked her up, yet, that has any thoughts to share with the class? Do ya like her?
huh Daz Giveth and daz Takeith away had a purple banner with extra 20% off and got itin my messages but after going to check out entering code says the "SWEET-SAVINGS-20" is not valid and my purple banner is now gone, still at moment in messages, maybe because just been saying about latest buys last few days been glitchy being punished oh I didn't really want her that badly anyways as they say always another sale and maybe something I want more
Honni 8 is dififcult to deal with right now because she's in Lost and Found. Her files are not set up properly, so nothing appears under "Figure", "Materials", etc. (You still can dial in her shape in Parameters, however.)
The parts seem good. I really like makeup in the Diffuse Overlay channel, and this is another base figure that does that... so that's positive.
It's rare that I dislike a Daz Original base figure, however.
In this generation of figures? I don't know if she's the top tier, and she's difficult to use right now. She's in a useful band of shapes, and the face is pretty and different. She doesn't look instantly like a Victoria 8 sister, so that moves her up a little.
Does anyone know what outfit this is?
