I like this bundle but was sad that the "Walk the Plank Pirate Bundle" wasn't in the "Huge Selection of Daz Originals". Definitely plan to purchase!
Emmeline is a good figure. I don't know what I'll use her for, but I like the scars. (They are separate HD morphs.)
Here is Honni 8 HD in Missi Judge Outfit holding the Knobbed Cane from Cottage Props at The Ant Farm's Dead Pool that I also picked up today.
Watch that Necktie folks, it likes to disappear into the chest. Just be prepared to go close and fiddle. I love the textures with this outfit. And this hat, although no movements, does let you use the transform dials to adjust it.
Could those of you who exepcted a banner but didn't get one check again in a little while please, allowing a bit of time for things to update. Actually, check the SWEET-SAVINGS-20 code - the banners are still being done so may take a while.

I got a lot of stuff useful for Steampunk settings, as a bonus they come without the pesky high heels (Yay!
), and I treated myself to some wishlisted items at a further 20% off, mostly fantasy stuff.
I would be very happy to see a male counterpart of Honni soon, hopefully with more Steampunk themed items, such as weapons and various gadgets.

This one was a definite buy for me - Honni is beautiful, the other characters are nice (not that I need more - already have more than I will use), I like the old West themes, but have skipped most of the others for various reasons (usually involving available funds), so this works well. I agree the Sci_Fi Rebel clothing looks similar to so many others, but since I haven't bought almost any of those it still fills a use/space in my library (and I must admit, I do like this one better than most of the others too).
Plus the banner deal - oh yeah, that was the clincher - I have been hovering on the edge on a few items that have been on decent sale lately and so grabbed them too! Got half my budget for the month (though it is nice I will get $30 back tomorrow, so not SO painful). And now I *FINALLY* have Ultra-Scenery!!!! (can't wait to play with it... provided my rig is working enough to handle it).
Last night when I first saw it, I was all ready to buy the bundle, I do actually like the character for once. But now that I see that I already own one outfit and there is not a single addon I want, I guess I will wait for a better deal. Usually PAs do characters as part of the addons that I like (mostly better than the DO!) but this time there is just a bunch of weird stuff I’d never use. It’s a shame but I guess I’ll have to wait for the price to go down in the future on this.
ETA: Actually, I just put 3 of the cheapest addons in my cart and I know I’ll never use them but if I count the 30 store credit, it comes out to just over $21 for the bundle which, of course, would be great if I didn’t already own one outfit. I really wonder why they stuck an older outfit in there? I hope this isn’t the future of bundles. Anyway, I’m on the fence again. If I actually wanted any of the addons in my cart, this would be a good deal though.
Well I was too hasty and didn't wait for my banner to appear, so only now is it showing up after the fact. It says can't be used to purchase previously-owned items at lower price, but does anybody know if there's any way I could still go back and take advantage of the discount? I usually do get a banner and was surprised when I didn't have one at release, and if I'd known there would still be a banner to show up delayed, I would have waited, but this is the first delayed/glitched banner for me so I didn't know to wait. I only even accidentally discovered this apparently common glitch just now in searching the forums for something else. Highly irritated by this glitch which has cost me unnecessarily. Would this be something worth opening a support ticket for, or is it a lost cause for me already?
I would definitely open a support ticket expaaining the situation and referencing the order number for the order for which you should have gotten the extra discount. DAZ customer service has always been very helpful. So, while there are no guarantees, I would guess they might refund the discount you missed out on.
As usual I like the character, and the two new outfits do have enough parts to look kitbashable.
Like everyone else I am mystified over the inclusion of an older outfit in a Pro bundle. Especially when there is a perfectly acceptable additional outfit -- with a sepaarate texture set -- among the addons. I'm wondering if whoever was in charge of the project in Marketing took a look, decided everything was too samey/samey and kicked out one of the outfits that had been commissioned for the bundle, and slung in a nice older outfit that was vaguely appropriate into the bundle to take its place.
Anso somewhat annoyed by filling up the bundle with pose packs. As someone said aboue. Pose packs are filler.
Mildly impressed with the 21-gun salute. No idea whether I'll ever get any use from it. But it's an impressive collection.
The steampunk vehicles are all fun, and I have to say I never saw anything quite like either of the characters in the addons. Now those are different!
Certainly seen bundles that I liked more. And also some annoyed me less.

Well getting the Pro Bundle with 3 add-ons (Missi Judge Outfit Texture, Everyday Cow Girl Outfit, and Everyday Cow Girl Outfit Textures) for $21.25 total after rebate was a no brainer for me.
Something seems to be changing with the Pro Bundle...I wonder what the spiny-not-loading item is? It wasn't there earlier.
I guess I'm not loyal enough of a customer to get a purple banner. Ok.
But without the banner, what is the cheapest I can get the Pro Bundle? I already used my Plat Coupon this month, so I'm kinda thinking I should have waited.
I wasn't too excited about most of the addons, so made sure to include the HD-Addon this time. Usually I want them, but wait for a good HD-addon deal to happen (they rarely do anymore these days :( )

now i'm scared for when comes the "counter part" of her the "western guy, if him also gonna come with 1 less outfit and 1 more "pose set" and a "old outift" just for "numbers", this istart to feel really bad to have daz pulling less outfits since they are basically the big reason for me to buy most of the g8 pro bundles, since hairs are useless since most of then or are "fibermesh or dforce or another "high resolution type of hair making it useless for my line of work (game), normally the only usefull stuff i get from the pros are the "characters "materials" and maybe if i feel they really looks good to be usable in game then also the figure and most important the "outfits" which normally in many pro bundles in g8 are not that "high poly"., then having less outfit" reduce a lot the value of the bundle for me, i can live with the "usage of old outfits" as long its not something from "another bundle" and not too high, but having less than 4 already hurt a lot for me.

Can someone ease my mind concerning the hair and hats? Is there an easy setting that will allow the hats to fit the hair? I've seen some hairstyles that had a "hat fit" morph supplied.

As long as the hair also conforms to the head, then, yes.
The Hat helper is a simulated head, but then it deforms to create the "under hat/hood" effects. As long as the hair prop follows the shape of the head, it will work.
It will not work with hair that you Parent to the Head (i.e. no conforming).
(in my Emmeline image, I used E&J's Liberty hair, which has its own integrated hat. I just substituted that for the Caballero hat.)
I don't have the Genesis 8 ones but I don't use those figures as much but honestly I have no idea as don't use the Dforce hairs either
