Thanks. I don't think I'll be making 7000 posts in just 13 months this time though. LOL

our local news is talking about the Brooklyn bridge. someones went up and swapped the American flags for white ones.

Asians use white flags (and white outfits) at funerals - white = colour of death.

Fitting, imho, considering who's left us.

    Welcome back Terre, maybe (^_^)/...

Yes, I'm de-lurking and will be posting. :)

White is the color of death for Native Americans too and Jeff was a quarter Cherokee if I remember correctly.

Yes, Cherokee, and very proud of it. He would be tickled at the thought of white flags flying on the Brooklyn Bridge for his passing.

Glad you are going to be joining us, Terre. I' m looking forward to seeing your posts.
Hello and thanks again for the candles.

Not in the last year or so but I keep thinking I should open Poser and poke around some. I'll do so eventually.
On staycation right now. The store hasn't quite fallen apart but they really wish I was back already. LOL

    *chuckle* Very true.
A raise would be nice, promotion is out of the question. The store is family owned with the general manager being the younger son of the owners and he has unrealistic expectations of what we morning crew are capable of. The only promotion possible would be to become the morning manager and knowing what T expects of the person who holds that job: NO THANKS!

I believe the important phrase is "The sun is over the yardarm somewhere". Cheers.

There is a nasty storm outside. I hope the power does not go out as I am in a middle of a major backup. I am trying to watch some streaming video while hoping this will keep me calm during the storm. I won't be calm if the storm knocks out power.

Oh goodie, Microsoft released a patch that is preventing some users from accessing Office and now I can't open Word so I can work on my stories. Supposedly, the 'fix' is in today's batch of patches to be released but they aren't out yet... Wonderful >_<</p>

Goodbye my friend. You will be missed.

    ..OMG no...

Been offline for several days after my ISP cut my service off.

Bugger...always felt a special kinship with him. He was always so bloody helpful and just a great friend to "converse" with.

...suddenly everything complaintworthy pales into insignificance right now.

    ...rest well my Drow friend.

A lot of us have lit candles for him.
    The link is here; http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=DAZ
I looks like we have gone into the double digits for countries and the candle site can't handle it. It's sitting there claiming 47 candles from 1 countries and that is wrong.
