at least you have a 64 bit computer with more than 4 GB of memory.

edit: 32 bit Daz Studio will complain about the lack of memory if I add another prop to the scene.

Um.. because I am using a computer built in 2006?

The render and scene that I am referring to is at: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/651177/

TroutFace I missed your posed. I agree that some of V4's gloves and arm bracers won't fit correctly on Genesis 2. I might do a quick render to show you.

Why don't you have service pack 3?

I need to find a solution for: XP Service Pack 3 cripples some PCs with endless reboots. Only AMD systems affected, says former Microsoft security manager.

I remember when people were thinking having a tb hdd was too much.

I remember when a 40MB hard drive was considered huge!

That would not contain much of my Daz installers.

I don't think it would contain much of Windows!

    ...good afternoon all.

When I got my first PC I wondered how I'd ever fill a 20MB HDD that was about half as as big as a shoebox. Of course that was still in the old DOS days and I was writing all my work in a text editor that required manually adding formatting codes for the printer. Was really shocked when they installed a 95MB drive in my workstation at the development firm I worked for (only because we moved up to this newfangled thing called "Windows"). The drive was about as big as a pack of ciggies

While backing up my scene files the other night I noticed that one of them was 115MB (and these are usually compressed). Even that "insanely big" drive on my old production workstation above would be "insufficient" to hold it.

I remember a pic I created of my superhero character "Amber" in old Pixel Paint back in the 80s on one of the "new" color Mac IIs (only 8 MB RAM but a "whopping" 40MB SCSI HDD) in the computer lab at the college I was attending. Needed two 3.5" floppies to to save the image (had to split it in two as it was about a.1.25MB file as the disk capacity at the time was only 800K.

...try applying smoothing you can do that from the Edit menu "Edit/Geometry//Apply Smoothing". This will also establish Mike6 as the collision target for the "clothing". If that still doesn't totally work you can adjust the smoothing and collision iterations.

...never installed it either as it had conflicts with the security suite I have.

Using "Edit -> Object -> Geometry -> Apply smoothing modifier" works. Thanks for the tip!

edit: I'm too lazy to set up a complete scene now.

...thanks for the correction. I knew there was one more step (<object>) but couldn't remember what it was and not at home so I don't have 4.6 open t the same time.

It's not unexpected.. the bones aren't the same and remapping anything to a weight-mapped figure is hit and miss at best.. if I had a REAL 3D app I could retopo the clothing to the new figure but I' too poor to afford Lightwave (lol)..!

I had email service with a commercial web hosting company once. The mail service was bad: late emails, no connection via pop3, problems logging in with the correct password. The worst part was that the website service and company was nice until they unexpectedly closed down. Eek. Even Yahoo!Geocities gave me a few months notice before it closed my free website down.

I'm at the office Monday and it's a real pain
So I'm in here and I'm gonna complain
I'm flat broke and it's not funny
So out at lunch to hit the bank for money
It's gonna be hot so I'll sit in the sun
Being a baked Trout is not any fun
My coffee is cold and my milk is warm
My 3 day old chicken wrap is doing me harm
I way overslept, had to pay for a cab
Traffic was insane, might wind up on a slab
Mike wouldn't fit in V4's kinky dress
And then Autofit turned it into a mess
I won't get lunch 'cause I'll be on the bus
Can't take a long time , 'cause the boss will just fuss
My bad foot is sore, weather's making it worse
Sure hope I don't end up in a hearse! :bug: :gulp:

Maintenance crew came by looking for leaks. I mentioned my problem with my map always falling and the got some better adhesive tape to hang a new map( after three weeks of fighting, the first map was rather battered and torn). I'm hoping this works as I'd rather not have holes drilled into the wall.

While I haven't dated every woman in the world, what I have noticed is that it's variable - like you have booty guys, you have booty girls - chest guys, chest girls - but the body parts list is small and pretty consistent (butt, chest, face, legs, tummy).

This is just in general, it's not a rule by any means! And it's only in my experience.
