I did not feel well yesterday but I feel better today. Though there is a crying baby at the library.

Baby thinks: "Why am I at the library? I can't read!" (cries some more)

@Teh Tornadoes: I don't get how people can afford to replace their houses every other year like that x___x

Well, it's not a common thing here. Down in the south and midwest, that's where it happens a lot. It does seem to be happening more here than it used to, though. In the past mostly they'd be in unpopulated areas in the western part of the state. Of course, there's Springfield. And a year or two back we had a really big one go through the general Springfield area. That one was bad. I don't think the towns have fully recovered yet. I don't think I've ever had a tornado in a city where I've lived, not while I've been alive anyway. I hope it stays that way. In the areas that have them a lot, they probably have insurance against it. Up here, I don't think that's a common thing. It's like flood insurance, or earthquake insurance. Those aren't big up here, either. Although I think flood insurance is probably on the rise lately. We've had some tough flooding in New England in the past decade.

I wish I were at home and doing a render
In DS of course, and never in Blender
Load up a Vicky, load up a Mike
Maybe load Aiko that's something I'd like
Whip up a Mikeburger, Mike-maki too
We'll feed poor Mike to a huge kangaroo
Shrink Mike right down so he's teeny weeny
Then we'll go fit him with Aikos bikini
I'll try to put skimpwear on good old T-Rexy
A hot leather miniskirt would make him real sexy
Shaders we'll mix, throw in HDRI
It'll render so long that I'll just sit and cry
Many an hour will wind up in the trash
As I sit and scream watching 3Delight crash!

    :bug: :gulp: :bug: :ahhh:

Oklahoma is just north of Texas and south of Kansas. The bus I was on went from Texas to Missouri! If I'd stayed on the bus I would have ended up in Kansas City eventually (which is in Missouri, how odd). :blank:

I need a machine dedicated to 3D work.. probably not a laptop, but a micro-gaming PC with a serious video card and memory. It needs to fit in my suitcase.. le sigh. :-S

I could fit that into my large rolling suitcase with some effort.. might have to dump a few t-shirts and my hardly-ever-used toolkit. :blank:

Gigabyte makes a thing called the Brix - about the size of a small shoebox. Core i7, up to 16GB RAM, decent graphics.. but I'd have to buy a new keyboard/monitor every time I moved, with a laptop the whole thing comes along.

I dread moving my music software to a new laptop.. so many licenses to transfer.. will take a week when I finally do it.
    Frown.

Mine is 17.5" tall x 8.25" wide by 19.25" deep. It almost is a suitcase! :gulp: It has a lot of stuff in there, though...3 hard drives, one SSD, one 3.5" floppy, two DVD drives, one with LightScribe, plus the various cards.

My old phone died so I got a smart phone. It just sits there and doesn't do anything unless I tell it to. Which means it isn't any smarter than the average guy, like me. :)

There was an EF2 tornado with winds of 120mph just north of Boston today, in the town of Revere. It was down for four minutes, was about as wide as 6.5 football fields and traveled for two miles. Nobody was killed or hurt, which is surprising, since it did some damage. It went right down Broadway, which is a main road as I understand, maybe the downtown area. There was an EF0 tornado yesterday, also north of here. We supposedly average two tornadoes per year in Massachusetts. They're more common in the western part of the state, though. These were both in the eastern part, and Revere is just north of Boston. I just looked at the Google Earth map of that area, it's Rte. 107, and it is quite densely populated. It's amazing there were no injuries!

...weather is getting rather wacky these days. As I just saw there is another "Polar Vortex" heading south into the Great Lakes and central plains...

...in late July which is normally the hottest time of the year in that region.

...here it's going to be around 90° if not in the 90s for the rest of the week (and they still haven't fixed the AC at the local cafe).

Turns out the tablet crashed. Had to reboot android. Maybe the games were still running even though I closed them? I just saw a notification from a game. Grrr... Other games play beeps even when I didn't load them. OK, gonna work on some renders now.

Oh.. I notice that DAZ hasn't deleted my renders of Victoria in lingerie yet. Lol Gonna render a guy topless sometime.
