    Hump Day Complaints!!

    - Twisted BAD ankle in the bathroom, doc visit, oww oww oww
    - In to work an hour late, so losing an hour for the week
    - Dark and might rain on me on the way home
    - Need to install RDNA and Rendo content
    - Need to work on lots of things, including my autobiography (lol)
    - Beef stick for breakfast since ankle hurts too much to go out
    - REALLY bad mood

    Non-complaints:

    - Ankle just bruised inside, doc said walk it off, x-rays showed no new broken bits
    - DIM makes my life easy for DAZ content
    - Coffee tastes good this morning
    - Vending machine has fresh sandwiches so I can rest during lunch
    - Aspirin! :cheese:

I have all the assets for Vicky's Diner, although a nice diner maid outfit for Vicky6 would be useful. A6 has her Asian dress for her gothic sushi place, I have diner food and furniture, cars, landscapes, lights, shaders, props.. the works! :)

There are some diner type outfits for Genesis (1) in the Platinum Club. I'm told auto-fit does a nice job.

    Dana

Alas, I can't justify the cost of a PC membership! If I can find a V4 diner maid outfit, I can get that to work.

Rain, rain, rrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn.. taxi home tonight!

Join for a month...$7.95. The savings add up quickly with these $1.99 items that are normally from $9.99 to 19.99. Plus you get a $6 coupon to use on a DAZ Original item. So, $7.95 - $6 = $1.95 cost for club for one month. Not counting the savings on the PC items. Plus you get 30% off DAZ Original items, too. Plus the free items for the month (2 of them, one PC freebie and one freebie that is only free to everyone else if they buy something)!

    Diner Waitress for Genesis Female
    Dot Check for Diner Waitress
    Carhop for Genesis Female

    There's also:
    Short Order cook for Geneis
Hash Slingers for Short Order Cook
Order Up for Short Order Cook complete with grease marks, burn holes (I think) and blueberry pie stains!

All those are $1.99 items, but would cost you a hell of a lot more than $7.95 if you weren't a PC member.

I go month to month. If I'm just so poor that I can't do it, I'll let it lapse.

Some (diner) food for thought. ;-)

    Am happy now... :)

Those are some nice outfits! One issue - I have no credit card right now and I'm under the impression that I need one for PC membership, not Paypal. That's a showstopper.

Wishlisted the waitress and carhop outfits! Thanks! :cheese:

AFAICR you can use PayPal to pay PC membership. However be aware that you have to have a 3 month membership to start with, it is no longer possible to join up just for one month

Sheet latex sure is expensive! Even in a year when I've reached my intended healthy weight, it would still be hundreds of dollars for enough for a moderate-coverage outfit. And that's assuming I don't screw up the gluing/assembly of it and it ends up wearable on the first go. No wonder professional cosplayers are usually so petite.

Too much money! Especially since these "base" figures are just actually morphs, or "shapes", for Genesis 2. do you have the ethnicity morphs? You can make your own Lee. And there are good textures for M4 (One named Lee - I think from the Dogs of War series), and Ryuu International for M4 and Genesis, and there are others I'm sure. So you have textures, too. I bet you have those, too!

i was after a more wiry body shape for my g2m. i was a big fan of the wiry muscle morph for M4.

Lee is in for a treat - ping pong paddles + hmm, one of the g2 ladies i haven't rendered yet :wicked grin:

At that size, maybe they'd have enough meat on them to bother with. Usually chicken wings are useless...to them and to me.

...yeah Josie's been a perfect addition to my G2 Teen/Kid Gene Pool (also have the Growing Up morphs).

Another face and physique to put in the mix, and she comes with a really nice skin map that is SSS ready.

    ...midweek 'plaints.

--Woke up fling rather queasy myself this morning and had to reschedule my interview.
--Checked the transit system and unless they let me work the 8am - 5pm shift (instead of 6 am - 3pm), M - F only will have to pass on the job as bus service in that area of town is pretty bad, particularly early morning and on weekends.
--Had to raid change stashes for coffee money again.
--On line help files. Tried working with AOA's Grass Shader last night but the user guide is only available online and I have no net connection from home.

    Non Complaints

--AC at coffee shop finally working again.
--Nice day today weather wise, only in the low 80s instead of 90s.
    --Rescheduled appointment for next Monday
--Finished rebuilding the scene that was corrupted when everything crashed on me a week ago. Render time tonight.
--Teryaki and stir fry veggies for dinner tonight.

Next time you have Internet access, go to the help page and save the page onto your hard drive with an obvious name so you can find it. I'd make a folder for documentation...call it "offline help" if you like. Do the same for any pages that it links to. That way you'll have it next time you need it and you don't have access.

Be sure to save that scene file somewhere safe in case it crashes again!

KK, if you installed the grass shader with DIM, the pdf for that should be installed as shown in the pic below in the Readme's.

...unfortunately I had to manually download and install it as I have no net access from home so the DIM is useless for the time being. I've been downloading to the notebook while at the hotspot cafe, then transferring the installers over to the workstation via flash drive when I get home.

However just checked the Documentation Centre and surprisingly was able to find a download link for the PDF version there. Seems they are getting better at updating product documentation.
