Just got a call from Dad, he's now home. Since I'm still coughing and sneezing, I'm not going to go see him, cause while I THINK this is allergies, I'd hate to be wrong when he just got out of the hospital. But it's good to know he's now home.

I'm glad he's home. You're right, better to not take a chance on being around him right now.

At least it's metal. And at least they admit it's fantasy! :)

True, that! I just found a "clothing" for V4 that's nothing but old bones wired together!! :bug: That's gota be scratchy!! :gulp:

I get that a lot of these types being 'fantasy' is that it also means 'impractical', but pointy bits that stab or slash the WEARER the second she attempts to bend or twist are beyond the point of 'impractical' and well into the "I just wanted to make a set of clothes inspired by the SAW movies"!!!

bad enough when the offending spines, flanges, etc. are only partially metal, but in a lot of cases they are fully metal and of the same piece as the nearby plate!

I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how you'd put it on without getting stabbed.. it isn't possible!

Monday, and whoooo boy I have complaints!

    - Crampy guts
    - Food is a horrible idea right now
    - No coffee, no soda, too sick to go out
    - Lost lots of sleep last night
    - Missing work today, feh meh (thank heavens August is a 5 check month)
    - Bunch of my RDNA stuff won't download, been removed from the store
    - Downloads super slow
    - Cranky mood due to all of the above

    Non-complaints!

    - Glad to hear about Fyres Dad! :cheese:
    - Some extra money after bills :)
    - When I'm not in bed I can work on 3D stuff (lol)'
    - I have plenty of Tums and Imodium

Definitely been worse. I suspect the Vietnamese place I found on Sunday afternoon was a mistake.. the food went down well, but.. maybe a bad choice on my part even through it wasn't very spicy.

New complaint: Maybe I'm doomed to non-spicy food in my old age!!! *cry* *cry*

*edit* shopping therapy - got the Shiloh impractical armor for Vicky! She's gonna hate meeeeeeeee...

Urgh.. sent out for miso soup and California roll, extra ginger. Pickled ginger really helps my poor tummy!

    Blech, just.. blech.

General fussiness.. lots of old characters to recreate in Genesis 2.. urgh.. well, gives me plenty to do I guess. I wish I could find how to easily change Mikes expressions, it was soooo easy with M4! :snake:

That's one thing my store will not do. If you bought it, it will be available for re-download, even if the vendor pulled out.

Maybe the spices had nothing to do with it. The only way to test that is to have some spicy food, but not from there. Is there some other place with spicy food that you've already tried and didn't have problems with?

Are you clicking on the product page link or the download links off to the far right at RDNA? I've been able to download a number of former freebies that are no longer in the store, haven't encountered anything that can't download yet.

No, it's definitely the spiciness. I can have Mexican that's mild, medium causes "issues". Thai food medium hot does now, too. Even moderately spicy BBQ will have repercussions!

I suspect this is the result of abusing the Hell out of myself for 40 years.. oh well. :blank: I bet if I backed off for a while, things would improve. It's developing the willpower to "eat mild" that's going to be VERY difficult for me! *cry* *cry*

Blech, tired. Waiting for food to be delivered, only kind of sort of hungry.

Tired of downloading and installing, but I think I'm about 1/2 way through it all. What a process!

Meh. Nap time after feeding! :)

Food arrived and some eaten. Yum sushi and pickled ginger! :cheese: Makes for a happier tummy.

Nap time now. Tired of downloading and trying to cheer up by reading humor sites. Need sleepies!

Back later, I hope everyone is having a decent day!!

    ....Monday complaints:

    --More job searching, more frustration.
--Why do they keep sending referrals for positions I have no qualifications for like medical/nurse assistants, IT staff, drivers/forklift operators, and high level executives? They have my resume, my work experience, my profile, their systems know what's on them and what isn't.
--Job sites that make you pay a fee to apply. In times of high unemployment these should be outlawed.
--Internet bill due by end of day, no cash to pay it.
--New phone works but only getting wrong numbers and telemarketers calling. Received several text messages but cannot reply in like form as it is not a smartphone.
--Still cannot get voice mail set up even though I am following the directions.
--backup keyboard went flaky. Have to use the notebook keypad again which is also dying (back arrow no longer works, Space Bar, "e" "4" and "6" keys work intermittently).
--Lotto ticket not a winner again no money for a ticket for tonight's draw.
--no beer or money for beer.

    Sort of Non Complaints:

--More weird dreams again about travelling, attending SF conventions, Kite Festivals and going overseas in spite of the fact I'm flat broke and cannot even afford to ride the bus across town.
    --Dead backup keyboard was free.

    Non Complaints:

--Weather is nice, sunny and in the 70s.
--Don't ache quite as much today.
--Almost back on a normal sleep schedule after last week.
--Found a "house brand" cola at the natural food mart that uses "real" sugar no "mystery ingredients" which isn't horribly overpriced.
--Meat counter at the natural food mart sells awesome burger patties (different varieties) that cost less per pound than the loose ground beef.

Depends on what qualifies as decent.

After I ordered the replacement battery, suddenly the UPS stopped beeping and the red LED warning that the battery needs to be replaced went off, and it is slowly showing more and more charge. Now I have to wonder if maybe the UPS itself is bad. Maybe there actually was a split-second brownout and the battery just can't hold a charge anymore and that's why that happened. I think I might call back and ask for them to step me through some diagnostics for the UPS, to be sure I didn't order a battery for nothing. They have an upgrade plan, called Trade-UPS (this is APC). I'd really like to avoid that expense if at all possible, though.

You can usually have texting turned off so you don't get those. Although, if the phone can receive them, it should also be able to send them. It might be tougher to type without a qwerty keyboard layout. I have had texting turned off on my account, I don't do it and I was getting text advertisements...costing me money to receive them. And I got a "wrong number" text or two, as well.

--Meat counter at the natural food mart sells awesome burger patties (different varieties) that cost less per pound than the loose ground beef.

I would suspect that there's a reason for that. It is probably a lower grade of ground beef. And also, the fillers probably make up some of the weight. You said "different varieties", which indicates they are not pure ground beef patties. Nothing that is more work costs less than something that is the same but was less work, so one or both of the reasons I suggest must be the truth.

...A) I cannot even text on one of the "pseudo keyboards" on a Smartphone let alone a conventional wireless phone that only has the standard numeric keypad.

    B) Yeah I know like cheese & other items, but they're still made with the high grade beef from range fed non-hormone injected cows and are very tasty (had one the other night).
