Kjaer 8 Blacksmith

Well I've got the banner. Store hasn't finished turning over, so I can't see what either he or the bundle look like. But at least it's a male release this time.

    How do you know for sure it's male? The banner doesn't indicate gender.

    I'm glad it's a male. That means I will most likely skip buying it or even be tempted, unless the character is just THAT awesome! I need to keep some money after getting so many Plat for Day & BYOBs.

    That's a weird and kind of unfortunate name, apparently named by someone with little knowledge of Nordic languages. Basically, this guy's name, translated to English, would be "Dear". Not very manly, I'd say. ;)

    Wikipedia says it's a Danish surname meaning "caer" or "fen". Probably where they got it. (Wikipedia being what it is, I don't attest to its accuracy, only its presence.) And as a surname, "Dear" woudn't be all that unusual in English.

    So he's more-or-less new Vladimir? Banner doesn't look bad, but I wish Daz would have made male counterparts for Sukai and Twosret/Khemsit.

    I'm glad it's a male. That means I will most likely be extremely tempted and buy him as soon as the deals settle later on, at least if he comes with blacksmith stuff and lots of fur!

    I'm also sad it's a male because I have spent SO MUCH on Plat and BYOB stuff lately. And there are three Fast Grabs I'm interested in today.

    I'm sadder because I'm stuck way back in the Cloudflare propagation and still seeing everything from yesterday.

    I do still want Twosret/Khemsit counterparts as well, but I'm also glad to be out of Egypt for a while.

    That page works for me, so they definitely have. It simply has not synced yet where you are.

    Oof. Usually it's just a matter of the rollover taking a long time to reach me, actually kinda disappointed to find out that it's bigger than that today.

    At least Kjaer's page is online now! He looks meaty and I love how he blends with other characters I own. :>

    I was curious, and apparently there's a footballer with the last name Kjaer.

    Also perhaps a spelling fix might be in order.

    Ugh, another big brutish beefy guy. I wish they’d do a tall lanky guy or a good looking lead in a romantic comedy type. I want hot boyfriends, not Norse gods.

    Surprisingly young looking guy, though I suppose that makes sense as a way to make him distinct from Vladimir. Also, could have lived forever without the surprise of the image of him getting an axe to the gut. Unusually gory for a promo. There's also a duplicate promo image, I think.

    And Bjarke is strikingly pale.

    It's normal as a surname though (usually with the local ae character: Kjær), at least in Denmark.  And "kjær" is no longer used for dear in DK, today it's "kær".

    No spelling error, "æ" is a local nordic character, "ae" is used as substitute in languages that don't have that character.  Same with oe = ø, aa = å.  Not sure though if these characters display correctly in this forum.

    Oh no he's hot. I like the vegvísir even though I almost never use the skin decoration core characters come with.

    That was the thing which struck me as well. He looks incredible! Going to have to buy this one.

    Anyone know yet if there's a HD add-on?
