Morning. Enjoying some bright warm sun hanging low in a suddenly cloudless big bright blue sky so far today :)

Well, that's always pleasant, isn't it?

    Dana

This winter has been soooooo bland and monotonous in every way

I like a bland, monotonous, winter up here. It means not much snow. This past winter was not bland, nor was the one before or the one before.

    Dana

We are a storm tossed city sitting on the ghoulishly named shipwreck coast, weather drama is usually constant so is totally boring to have weeks of whiteout clouds sitting over us like a wet blanket. But yes, gots to be careful what you wish for, there are flooding rains up north right now that broke a long drought, the water will be making its way South toward us right now

With a name like Shipwreck Coast, I guess I wouldn't visit via ship! I'm hoping for some nice sunshine for my trip today. It's always better for driving than rain. One year we were caught in a sudden thunderstorm with hail that was so loud I thought for sure we'd lose the windshield, or at least have little dents in the body of the car, but it was OK.

    Dana

More than 600 ships ( (Wpedia says 638) laying on the ocean floor off the coast here, sunk mostly by sudden storms between 1830 and 1940, is a kind of unfortunate world record, Weather can blow up out in minutes from of a clear blue sky and glassy seas. This year the winds are ferocious and blowing harder and longer than usual. There's not much recreational sailing going on this winter

Morning. Thick river fog settled on our back fence like a wet white blanket makes for an eerie quiet kinda shrunken horizons start to the day :)

    a river runs through it?

a mourning dove outside sounding particularly mournful

Two rivers. We're in a bend on one :)

Meh, it took most of the afternoon to tweak the mistakes I noticed this morning. Now that I'm finally able to start the next scenes, the attack of the sleepies strikes.
    So, good night all.

I'd imagine not! Fire and ice generally don't mix :)

Love the dragon facepalm in the corner ^^

"His human"? It's like cats :D We think we own them, they think they own us ^^
Mmm though I figure his '[my] human' thoughts are a bit different than actually implying ownership, but that's the first thought that leaped to mind. Sounds cute somehow, comign from him

Hmm... Don't think he's using it to imply ownership though, but more like how people use "my friend, my owner/master, my caretaker/guardian, my uncle/aunt/etc..."

    Good morning! :cheese:

KIND of online.. the connection is very slow but it's working. Whew!

Trying to get my Win8 tablet going, the thing is a pain in the neck! :blank:

Now that I'm online it's CONTENT TIME! :ahhh: What do I need for Vicky's Diner? The cook, for sure.. maybe The Girl as a waitress? What to do, what to do? :blank:

Need coffee, so it's a trip out soon, just need to wake up a bit more. :)

    Got to do some rendering...

Reld's planning on writing a book to help other dragons that wake up in the modern world.

Reld's Pearls of Wisdom will contain such knowledge as:

    1) Don't sit on electrical wires. Even though you will see birds using them with ease, you will get a nasty bite on the butt.
    2) Cars are not for eating. Even though they move very fast, they are made out of metal. So not good eating, unless you are a Rust Dragon (in which case you should at least let the humans out first before eating the car)
    3) Planes are also not for eating. See rule 2. Rust Dragons, there are a lot of humans inside, so again wait for them to leave before eating.

And so, Reld will probably add in the chapter regarding 'Encounters with a Hostile Dragon':
Keep a sharp eye on the human that you live with. He will try to protect you and potentially get himself killed. Which is bad.

He should also tell them what Railroad tracks are, and that you shouldn't stand on them [for long] :)

DIM running so now is a good time to go get coffee, hash browns, and a JALAPENO CHEDDAR SAUSAGE AND EGG BISCUIT! :ahhh: :bug: :gulp:

My little friend is an Asus MemoTab, 10.1 in. display, nice touchscreen, and is in a leather case with a Bluetooth keyboard.. I also have a Bluetooth mouse for it. It's my backup machine in case the laptop dies the True Death! :ahhh:

Surface looks cool.. but too expensive for a tablet, for me. My next purchase is either a tablet with built-in 3G/4G so I can get online without a router, then it's save for a new rendering machine... :blank:

Can anyone recommend a dark-skinned character for M6? I have some nice ethnic figures for G2F, but.. my dudes are (forgive the expression) "too white".

I see a few for Gianni but I'd prefer not to fork over $40 for a new character to use them.. :smirk:

Vicky's still setting up the kitchen, but the coffee machine has arrived and she's going to install it this weekend, along with the milkshake machine and a few other goodies. ;-P Right now, Vicky is gloating because she has "toast" and Mike doesn't! :bug: :bug:

I know I'm going to get an earful from Mike, he's a real whiner sometimes.. geesh.. :smirk: I got him a muscle car to drive and that shut him up for a bit.. argh..
