Morning. Enjoying some bright warm sun hanging low in a suddenly cloudless big bright blue sky so far today :)

    Good evening. :)
Only got up to 93F here today.

Winter in the Southwest already? %-P
    *chuckle*

    What's winter like in Austin?
Here we don't get much snow but it does freeze quite a bit.
I always find myself wondering WTF? when people say "It's too cold to snow." when it's in the teens around here. Huh? It snows at these temps and colder lots of places.

    I wish I were a shark
    I really really do
For if I were a shark
Then I could gnaw on you!
    It'd nibble on your fingers
I'd bite you on your nose
I'd catch you in the ocean
And chew right on your toes!

    :bug: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

I need beer and vodka so bad.. they're talking about this job lasting through Christmas :blank: :blank:

complaint: relatives are asking me to buy stuff for them. I'm like, use your own debit card. Yes, the'll give me money, but I need to go to the bank to deposit their checks and wait for the checks to clear. Grr, extra step. Hope the bank doesn't call me because I buy expensive electronic products - possible suspicious activity?? I'm supposed to use money in the bank to pay off my student loans, but noo..

relatives take advantage. careful of your credit rating >.< unfortunately, a lot of job applications out there want permission to look at your credit rating.

i heard that, in NY, teachers after - i forget how many years, the bank will forgive their student loan balance.

It's been eight months and I'm still getting questions regarding Storm Water. Back in January Storm Water was split between Street and Utilities. I was moved to Street. I'm not able to edit those layers anymore. If it something as simple as turn on those layers in the map, I'll help but I can't do research. That takes too much time.

I really want to go through one of those car wash places that have all the cool stuff while I sit in the car and watch, but first I need to get a plate for my car, but before that I need to get insurance for my car, before I can really afford it I need a regular job that will guarantee that I can afford the monthly insurance. Right now I do not have steady income that is guaranteed to be enough for car insurance. I also need to work on my hoarding problem which is causing me to collect things but I have a therapist who is going to help me with that, but it takes time.

So basically I need a job and to work on my hoarding problem so I can go through a car wash.

...insurance is the reason I have not driven in years. Even when I had a job that "could" support the cost, it was so expensive (as I again am considered a "new driver" since my licence had lapsed for over three decades and therefor have to pay a teenager's rate again) it was the one expense preventing me from getting back behind the heel. When I used to drive, Insurance was not mandatory so insurance companies bent over backwards to get you to purchase a policy. My last policy cost 107$ for a full 6 months (liability and collision) and that was as a college student driving a 4 speed V8 Olds 442. Today I am looking at between 1,200 - 1,500$ for the first six months driving a gutless 4 door sedan for the same level of coverage.

    COMPLAINT TIME! :blank:

    - Have to make bank run in 95f heat no clouds and 70% humidity
    - NO INTERNET AT THE HOTEL THIS MORNING :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:
    - - Lunch will come out of the cold junk food machine
    - Shoulders still hurt - time to find a massage therapist :long:
    - Should not have eaten hot salsa at lunch yesterday :smirk:
    - Not enough money to buy all I want

    Non-complaints:

    - Fresh coffee and nice cld milkie :)
    - Should be a quiet day at work
    - Hotel says someone is coming to look at the router (whew)
    - Cheezeburger for lunch! :cheese:

With any luck, the router at the hotel will be working when I get home tonight so I can grab my content. Worst case, I can non-DIM download the files here, then USB stick 'em home. :blank:

...ugh no net from home = giant pain in the bum.

Been doing the DL and USB stick thing for over three weeks now. A real pain as I am such a freebie junkie (have to be on my budget). The other night as working on a character for a scene and needed one of those personal 2 wheel shopping trolleys and/or a shopping bag. Normally I'd just jump onto ShareCG, search, find, download, install, and load into the scene. Now I have to take note for the next day when I go to the hotspot, remember to keep a USB stick in my pocket, make time in the limited time available to me to look for the item and wait seemingly forever to DL as I am on shared WiFi bandidth.

Net access should be cheap if not free (it is in some other nations) as it is so basic for getting through life, even more so than a phone.

ever thought about learning computer programming? logic and stuff :)
..don't do it! it is a sure path to early baldness, perpetual ulcers, sleepless nights, extremely heavy drinking, and dealing with people who think you can simply snap your fingers and give them hat they ant that instant.

If you are a perfectionist like me, magnify the ulcers and drinking at least fourfold and expect to lose all your (remaining) hair within three years.

    ...let them know that.

...unless they are willing to help you pay late fees and additional interest charges should you miss any payments on their account.

...and yes, the issuing loan service can find out if you have been spending your money on other things instead of paying them back.

There are severe penalties for not paying your student loans off in a timely manner and if you miss too many times you can go into default. I know, it happened to me.

It seems today, that not paying student loans back is a more serious offence than running up a CC balance without intent to pay it off. The latter you can expunge though filing bankruptcy but student loan debt lasts forever until it (and the mounting interest) is paid off and cannot be cleared in any other manner except perhaps (and I could be wrong) through an act of Executive Amnesty granted by the President of the United States.

...probably won't until I find a new net provider. Comcast keeps saying I only have to pay 49$ a month but is seems they keep adding different fees. One month my basic service charge was 63$

Trouble is all the "hardwired" services are owned by crooks like Comcast, AT&T, & Qwest (or whatever alias they are going by this month). Will not go back to wireless (which really isn't much cheaper) after my last experience since my part of town is apparently deemed a "low priority" service area (and I'm in the city).

Yep, feels about time for a story update. Had to correct some flaws I saw this morning or I would have posted sooner

Here's Samuel showing off the proper three point contact for climbing. I showed our safety coordinator this image and he loved it, wants to use it next year for that very lesson.
