I'm dreaming of rain and cool breezes cause it so miserably hot outside

It's 90, heat index of 103, with 64% humidity. Need a melting emote right here.

I'm such a goofball sometimes. I went outside to wait for fiancé to arrive for lunch, get in the truck and we drive to Whatabuger , and that's when I realized that I had taken my water bottle with me. /facepalm.

We parked in the shade and I have a full cup of tea but it's going to be sometime before I can drink that bottle

I don't know if that's for the average home hobbyist. I don't even know what those network connections are. They don't sound like cat5 connectors. How would I even attach it to my router? And I don't even want to know how much i costs! :gulp:

As hot and humid as it is outside, a salad sounds pretty darn good. I think the local burger joint makes a chef salad.. nummy! :cheese:

Head hurts, just finished the SPI driver and self-test on power-up, now researching the analog-to-digital converter so I can write the driver for IT. :bug: Lordy, I need to find an easier job! :long:

The sucker provides 1 gigabit and 10 gigabit Ethernet plus a fancy super-speed interconnect.. it'll take a special router than can handle gigabit speeds.

As to cost, I'm guessing close to $8,000 or more. :bug: :ahhh:

    I can dream...

Unhappily, quite true. I actually resigned from a job once because I ended up spending 3 months tech writing instead of the coding job they had told me I would be doing.. man, I was bored bored BORED. :blank:

Worse, I can't even take more than a week off work before I start writing code at home.. I'm a sad, pathetic nerdy type! :P

Dinner is going to be dead fish. I do not want dead fish. I do not want to eat dead fish. Wish I could ship it off to troutface but do not feed me dead fish.

I used the old Mill dragon lair the other day. It was big enough to fit two small dragon, an evil Mage, couple stalagmites and stalactites and I had plenty of room for more if I felt like adding. I know there are more caves but I can't think of them off the top of my head right now

And really it's all about how big your dragons are. I can fit Reld comfortably inside Sam's apartment with ease. I could get the big Wyrm inside the Mill cave but possibly not a mate(if he had one). You could scale the cave up or down to fit your needs

    Party time!! ;)

    Yep party time.

My bf and I have use party as code that we got to go do something in particular which I need to do after drinking two venti cups of ice coffee. It is party time for me. Oh wait that is TMI. I also got to get ready to go to that drop in center, though I would love to stay at Starbucks all day drinking ice coffee.
...for me it's ice tea. They make the ice coffee too strong (acid wise) for me. Get the same deal as if it were ice coffee though.

Yeah, for now Starbucks has become is my "ISP" as I don't have 130$ to pay off Comcast (and certainly will not pay for the time I have not been able to get back online).

...letsee, on the nVidia product page there is a button that reads "'Contact Us" instead of "Buy".

Eight "High End" GPUs each with 12GB for a total of 20,340 CUDA cores, (that would most likely be be eight Quadro K6000s which on their own retail for about 5,000$ - 6,000$ each). Then there's the 256GB of memory, dual Xeon 2680 2.8 gHz ten core CPUs, and dual 1TB SSDs. So with the added software for rendering and system interface I would guess a rough ballpark price of say, 50,000 - 60,000$

The bugger is I'd have to learn how to and deal with playing IT tech as it is only Linux based and thus I'd need a Linux workstation to connect to it.

[goes to buy a lotto ticket anyway].

...based on the size estimate for Great Dragons in the Shadowrun Universe (Dragons of the Sixth World), in her "true form", Lady Grande has roughly the length and wingspan of a Boeing 777-200 ER (see below).

Would definitely make for a "cozy" fit in the House of Lords chamber even with wings folded up.

...bugger more catch up top do (seems to happen a lot for me lately)

...was not feeling the best yesterday and being in near 90° out and somewhat humid didn't help.

First order of business, Happy (belated) Birthday Skiriki

    Only one Complaint:

Not having Net access from home. A total drag while rendering as I have nothing else to do in the meantime, nor have access to my music playlist. Also severely limits my work search to the few hours I am online at the hotspot and cannot use the DIM so I'm totally clueless as to when updates for content/plugins are issued.

    Non Complaints:

    Feeling better
Have second job interview tomorrow morning
Dropping into the 70s for the next few days
Curry Beef and wok veggies for dinner tonight

It's Tuesday, bright and sunny outside, clear, hot, humid, and otherwise pretty unpleasant unless you like sunning yourself on a rock. :blank:

Another day of cranking out driver code, listening to my co-workers moan and complain, trying to stay awake. I'm going to go out for a latte' and some breakfast, dag nab it!

Badly need to sun myself on a rock, inky dark and chilly cold here getting towards midnight :)

I'll see if I can send bright sunny warmth your way.. we have WAY more than enough.. :blank:

I'll kick in some of what we've got here in Austin TX.
