Morning. Dark giving way to puffy white clouds and a sky streaked orangey blue and grey, looks like some sunshine on the way for a change :)
...late Wotan's Day complaints.
--Didn't get the position due to lack of own transportation (buses stop running in that part of town well before the shift they are hiring for ends).
--Got up way too early today (06:00) after a fitful humid night's sleep
--Spent waaaaaaaay too much time riding around on and waiting for buses today.
--Feet hurting from walking around a lot in my "interview" shoes.
--Still having that issue with the "e" not echoing to the screen from time to time (still have no clue why this is happening either)
--Already August 20th, where did the summer go?
Non Complaints.
--On my way home I received a call for an interview tomorrow afternoon at a centre on my side of town (same company) so all is not lost. Shift times are better as is transit service to the location (the commute is also about half as long and I don't have to deal with riding overcrowded buses through downtown).
--Stopped on the way home at the market and now have both food and beer for the rest of the week
--Weather much more comfortable today, may finally get a good night's sleep tonight.
--New shaders in store for 1.99$ (never can have too many shaders). My content "splurge" for the week.
--Pasta with garlic & herb meatballs for dinner.

I feel confused.
DIM won't let me use it until I update it but my first attempt to update it failed.
Is comforting to know that somewhere in the world it is morning :lol:

I have not gotten the weekly freebie yet, but will do that tomorrow.
So I broke down and installed DIM, in an attempt to get a product working (for some reason, I can't load the fur from the Royal Asian Dragon, and no, DIM didn't help). Course, the dumb thing wanted to download my whole mess of content in a new folder. I would prefer to use my old one, thank you very much. It may be messy but I like it all under one folder.
Now I got a message that it wants a blank folder but I assume I can set it to my old one with no trouble, correct?

We're still coughing and spluttering a bit but yrs on the whole TY :) Very unusual for us both to get ill at the same time, 'twas a bit scary but normal wide spectrum antibiotics still seem to work for us both so phew :lol:

Meh the sun set in a mess of purple and orange now is inky dark I'm missing it already. That is my complaint.

The main peril of installing to a location that already has content is that DIM won't know what's there already, so there's a risk that it may leave old files that could cause an issue when installing a new version (as might happen with the really old version of the Genesis Evolution Expressions, which used a different folder from the newer and so the old files wouldn't be overwritten). It's also possible that uninstalling something installed by DIM that shared files with an item installed directly might get confusing.
