    I hate insomnia.

Found tail and wing membrane.. they don't conform at all. Will keep searching, the ZIP file has stuff scattered all over...

CONTROL-clicking the pose did indeed keep the X/Y/Z/Scale, great catch! Next animation between poses rendering! :cheese:

Now I'm waiting for some volumetric fire to render, 104 frames to go I reckon a half hour going by the other hundred odd. The can shape Mac is (appropriately) blowing hot air like a fan forced heater from under the desk can feel it on my face :)

Not the fastest on the block, think that's still a dual 8 core 2012 E5 @ 3.2, still the single 12 core new E5 @ 266 is pretty fast, 216 <> 2K frames in under an hour at moderate quality setting, fluid sim took 5 minutes to write the volumetrics cache, think the new Intel math pipeline makes a difference there

Fire is starting to look like fire and look at that baby reflect wow

I got to the bus stop late and then after ten or fifteen minutes decided I missed the bus. As I started to head back home until time to go back for the next bus, the bus came around the corner.

I can't recommend this model to anyone unless you're willing to work with the wings-and-poses issues. It's sad..

Well, back to trying to animate her... :blank: Have to save up for Dragon 3 now..

Why? You probably have Dragon 2 in your product library. It's a dragon. Everything doesn't have to use the latest and greatest technology, it's still going to look like a dragon. It's not like they're not accurate models. To determine that would require a real dragon to compare it with. :smirk:

Nope, no Dragon 2. Oh well. :blank:

ouchhh had to bite my tongue.

there's a guy at the dayjob, is one of those 'throw you under the bus' kinda guys.

i heard him do it, and i wanted to say 'was it a school bus or mass transit', but he wasn't talking directly to me.

I need to get back to Zbrush'ing so I can gain the skills required to make my little Rezca real someday.

Given what Fyre's shown of Reld 2.0 with the MilDragon3, I could probably come close but... Rezca's sort of close to that 'traditional dragon' view in that he's very self-conscious about his appearance, is quite stubborn (Even for his age!) and a bit on the vain side. Just a bit ;-P
That's about as far as he goes with that 'common view' since he's not much of a hoarder (It's there, but barely present), and so on. He is a bit short tempered though

So I don't think he'd take well to having lizard hands and feet forced on him, or his scales being messed around with. The Mil2's textures were pretty close to how his are, but then there's the case of the wings. Swidhelm's wing set improved things a lot, but not quite enough. Rezca's wings are a bit different unfortunately. D:

He's just a smidgen bigger than Reld but not by much. Not exactly magic savvy either, so if the two met I can almost see some trickery happening on Reld's part at poor Rezca's expense
Dragons aren't above a little practical joking and pranking at times in good fun and spirit, right Fyre? :)

Well, he knows some about magic and the like, but he doesn't have any actual experience in it. He can read and does so when bored and there's no room/time for running and flying, so he knows about these things but that's about it. Knows what it is and such, but not much more.

There's some kind of miserable sore-throat-runny-nose thing going down here, everyone has it and alllast night I was "kaff kaff kaff", so I guess I have it too.

In response to Rez... Fairy/pixie dragons thrive off pranks. I should make some fairy dragons when I get a chance. As for Reld, he has a sense of humor and has pulled pranks off on Sam but it's all in good nature

    My brain hurts. :blank: :blank:

I'm learning how to use microcontrollers to run DC and AC motors, sensing their positioning and speed so as to accurately stop, start, and move them. And no, it's nowhere near as simple as it sounds! :ahhh:

Will probably spend all day today in study and research.. I'm too old to be learning new things! Well, more than one new thing a WEEK... :red: :red:

I'm having worse luck with the can vending machine. Last week it stole a quarter from me when I put in a dollar bill . Today, I put in exact change but they were out of canned tea, so I went to get my money back so I could try the other machine on the solid waste side of the building. That one charges a dollar and has green tea but it's better than crashing on my desk. Except the can machine only gave me two dimes out of 65 cents. >_<</p>

Luckily I found a wrinkly old dollar bill buried in my purse and was able to get my tea but man is that irritating

Time to start bringing in stuff from home. Get a little cooler. You could afford one easily with the money you keep throwing away in that machine! Don't give them the satisfaction!

RDNA. It stats that it has both dynamic wings (ie, poser dynamic) and confirming wings. Gorgeous model but I will need to find the conforming wings since I use Daz before I buy

OK, from what I can see in the ReadMe file, try looking in the Libraries\Pose\AK OceanQueen\01 - OceanQueen Utils\ folder for loading the wings and tailfin. Then in Libraries\Pose\AK OceanQueen\02 - OceanQueen MATs\ for the materials.

    Dana

ETA: materials are Poser Only according to the ReadMe.
