also a realize that a ship decloaking takes like 3 seconds, so not a very long animation. Figured i would add some stuff like the Enterprise orbiting a planet etc just to pad out the frames

Anyone know what the story is with Trekcore? the screencap pages have been off line for 2 weeks now.

? been working fine over here. http://www.trekcore.com/
The browser has to have scripts enabled. I'm using FF.

I just clicked on your link the site's there, but try to get to the HD screencaps- those pages are off-line- have been for almost 2 weeks.

You're right. Gee, other pages there are offline too. I don't know why either.

    What are you looking for?

At the time, I was looking for screencaps from "Balance of Terror". But when I saw what was going on, I dug out my DVD set and made my own screencaps.

Okay ... that would have been all I could done too.

    .....................

For those wondering, yes I'm still working on that Klingon Bridge. Hope it's worth the wait.

Grabbed it, will play with it this weekend.

    Many, many thanks.

You know what would look good in this style? The Javelin. ;-)

it may not be what you've been expecting all this time (I really did start out thinking I was going to make it the same scale as the Dart, using the fuselage it has now as the starting point, but things escalated ;) ), but the Javelin is finally on its way ...

You're right, not what I expected, but brilliant nonetheless.

Is that a shuttle bay at the rear, large enough for two or three Darts?

    We need to see more.

    Again, brilliant!

Yup, that's a shuttle bay. The 'cockpit' area is actually a full-size bridge, so you can kind of get an idea of the scale of this. And Darts would be perfect support craft for a Javelin, eh? ;)

I'm going to ask a stupid question because I honestly don't remember:

When a Klingon Bird of Prey goes into attack mode, are the wings up or down?

  • jerriecanjerriecan Posts: 470

    Wings down for attack.

And, if the craft loses main engines within an atmosphere, the ship tries to maintain altitude by madly flapping them!

    Sincerely,
