Finally :-) The link lists are basically cleaned up/updated. I know there are some missing goodies here and there and will add them to the list over time [when i find them or somebody sends me a PM].

    Patieence, question:
Would it be easier to give you one link for the Nova Trek story folder at DA instead of a new link for every book? It would take less space on the List.

    Just a thought.

O.K. I hate to rain on your parade, a reflection-offset angle ("Angle" in the surface tab) is for controlling the angle that light reflects off the surface. I tried changing it from 180 degrees threw zero, to no avail (It should Always be at the default "89.90" degrees for true reflections of ray-trace lights).

Refraction angle ("Index of refraction") did nothing at all, as it is not even on by default (This is not a transparent lens surface).

The only other angles I could find anywhere, are for placing the ship in the scene.

Turning smoothing off and back on did nothing to the artifacts. I do not see a "smoothing angle" anywhere, where is it?

I think I have done more renders of this area of this ship today, then there are total renders of any ship in it's class on the internet.

Anyone know if the Retro dress for Aiko is still available? Can't track it down.

Greywolf Starkiller, pleas don't despair, I have a funny story for your ship, and how it came to be.

The federation in it's later years was running low on supplies, and needed ships. So some fool decided to salvage the parts from what was left of the Wrath of Khan ship (U.S.S. Reliant). It wasn't much, lol. So they went for the scraps of what was left of the Search for Spock ship, the U.S.S. Grissom... "Hmmm, that hull is pity beat up, yet usable" someone thought. Lets slap on some older nacelles, and call it the Miranda.

Because no one dared to call it the Phoenix, in fear that Khan would return with the ship remains he died in, lol.

Those are not Polygon anomalies, There Battle scars from two epic battles.

Grabbed it, will play with it this weekend.

    Many, many thanks.

You know what would look good in this style? The Javelin. ;-)

Thanks again, I really love this ship, it's one of my all-time favourites.

I assume everyone took this response as a jest to Zarcondeegrissom, and not in anyway a criticism of these beautiful models. I wish I had Greyworf Starkiller's skill in 3d modeling. After rereading this I realized it it could be seriously misunderstood.

I understand the concern that the 'Lowest bidder' bit could be taken wrong, given the price for the model.

It's more funny after thinking about a conversation between Spock and McCoy while doing surgery on a photon torpedo.

As General Chang keeps spouting off Shakespeare on the intercoms.
McCoy - "I'd give real money if he would shut up"

I was just trying to be funny about a daunting surface anomaly. (EDIT, and it dose look like a patched up hull after significant damage)

Thanks for the offer however It's okay for now ... if I miss one though, feel free to send me a PM.

Apparently the night I had to sign in "a billion times", they were changing the site layout I gather ... now to get to one's Gallery, one goes to one's Profile. I'm hoping all the main folder links are the same 'cause that's where I've been people for some of my stuff.

Madison? Uh, it looks like the support brace within the highlighted ellipse is a bit askew.

Maybe that's want you want, but I thought you might want to know before you "lock down" everything.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

The first update for today. The mini-screens are in place- and mapped. I just need to make the textures and the sensor deck prop.

Get my hopes up, then I see that dreaded word that implies it will not go smoothly... Poser. Do I realy want to put myself threw this again, not really. It looks good threw the shopping window. congrats on the nice looking set. I'll let others render it.

    Done and Done:

Sweetness! looks fantastic. Perhaps some day I'll have a ship for that to go in, if I can ever find one for daz studio.

P.S. the Klingon stepping back from that one support, cracked me up.

OK, I think I may need to redo that section. Not sure why the problem occurs as I don't have it. I assumed triangulate would work here since the section
is flat. SIGH. I hate dividing N-gons by hand. I wish Poser and DS could handle N-gons.

I just DL'ed the USS Federation, and there is a long, flat strip sticking out of the front of the neck. I don't know if that's what you were referring to.

Also, love the smaller dishes sunk into hull, I think the main dish would look cool like that, a sorta precursor to the TMP era dishes. :D
