One of my fav TOS episodes....

    That was a good one

I think it shows how you can really get creative with Star Trek renders, a lot of the TOS episodes dealt with time travel and alternative dimensions. So even if you don't have a lot of sci-fi ships and props you can still do Trek renders. Heck a few TOS episodes were filmed on the set for Mayberry RFD

In my case, I spent so much on those damn Nazi uniforms I have been trying to figure out how to use them in as many images as possible to justify the money I spent... and so Patterns of Force came to mind lol. I really do love that episode though, one of my all time favs. But I swear I will be sticking Nazis into renders for the next 6 months to get my money out of them...

I read the other day on the Klingon BOP. Wings up for landing, wings level for cruising, and wings down for attack

And, if the craft loses main engines within an atmosphere, the ship tries to maintain altitude by madly flapping them!

    Sincerely,

    Bill

thank you for that mental image Bill, thats going to crack me up every time I see a BOP from now on

you mean quack you up. :red: Oh...

So that explains why Sulu crashed. He didn't flap them hard enough.

Jenolan, and Sydney class are correct!! Just got them done last night after my computer crash last week I'm back up and running, I'm sure this and the Voyager Eng room will be ready at the same time.

    A very nice Jenolen bridge.

Has anyone come across a credible size estimate for the Sydney class? The ship model we saw on-screen had windows on the side and a conventional Constitution-type bridge deck stuck on top, but that bridge isn't the right size or shape to fit inside. I get the impression it's a fairly small ship, but still much bigger than a runabout.

OK, thanks. Looks like a sort of medium-sized ship. Anyone seen a model anywhere? I've looked at the usual suspects (Foundation3D and Trekmeshes) with no luck.

(And I'd be interested in getting a model of this one, too...)

Alas, that presented a somewhat-amusing 404 page instead of a model.

The whole point to the WWW is hotlinking. Kill that and you don't have a web any more - just a collection of sites.

    Anyway.

I concur ... however some nidgits thought using computer bots to download stuff from sites to the point of crashing servers ... so that gets rather expensive and people had to say enough already [and apparently some laws were made]. At least that's what one website owner's concern was ... he was quite prepared to block the IP addresses for half the country IF 'one person' abused [in his eyes] his site [of gravemarkers]. His site didn't last too many years.

Has anyone heard anything else about why TrekCore's screencap pages are off-line? They've been down for nearly a month now. Don't need anything at the moment, just went to check to see if they were back up yet.
