Thank you. I just wish I had the right chair for this era.

    picture?

    These:

Had time to get one of them made. Just guessed for a base.
    Sized it using M3.
Have included the .obj file, Poser made prop file and of course a D/S prop file.
    Everything is uvmapped.

I just sent off an e-mail asking for permission to share this. It's a game mod conversion.

Looks good; I have a couple of other Constellation-class models, but I think this one might be a bit more detailed.

It surprised me how well it turned out.
Everything's "right out of the box". I didn't have to work on the textures or anything. It was a .nif file and I always have good luck with those.

Looks great so far. I've always wanted a Federation Police Cruiser myself (from the original Expansion #1), but the IS Cruiser you're building looks pretty cool. Do you have any idea what other ships you might do next?

Madison I have the "companion chair" for the Captain's chair uploaded too. You might have to tweak its materials abit, the specular was white instead of black in D/S and ? what setting that is in Poser. The base is the same but the cushions have their own Shading Domains.

And yes, the "knicknacks" ... noticed a couple but might not have the textures for them. Might get some of the geometry done though.

Love your room so far :-)

Anyone know where I can find a larger version of this pic? This one is 694 X 530. I'd like to find an image large enough to use the photo for the textures on the shelf.

The geode slices aren't going to be easy material-wise, but wouldn't a wood shader be simple enough, Madison?

Not sure I understand. Remember I'm using Poser 9.

I have wood shaders, but not the kind that would show rings like when a log is cut open. I think this will work. It's so far back, you can't see much more than the fact that it's there.

I think this will work. The actual panels on the final page won't be much bigger than this post before it's clicked on. And if I close in on a character's face, it'll either be blurred or not even in the render.

You're most welcome, I'm happy to see that it's working out well :-)

I did notice in several photos of the room that often he had 2 "companion chairs" ... and lots of digital paperwork! [those PADD devices].

I made a set of data chips with a holder ... Poser and I are not on speaking terms atm so I have provided the .obj files. They should work fine. On my Poser it takes some guesswork to get them each imported in at the right size [do not center them], they should be landing in their places on the holder. For D/S all of these are made individually and then loaded "one by one". Then the chips parented to the holder and the holder placed on top of a desk or whatever. I provided "holding texture". The logo was simply one of the alphabet letters from Trek signs or something like that. It wasn't for his ship but gives the idea.

The sliced rock, well the ones sold around here have some thickness to them, sometimes a whole chunk of rough rock too.
I did find a picture of another one [a round water fossil thing] he had which is on the drawing board.
I don't know from the images you posting, but I did find a nice copy of the Captain's Ship painting which I touched up just a smidgin, but haven't done a frame for it yet. Let me know if you're interested in this.

I think the ship painting I have will do okay. But that water fosil thing would be nice- ity would replace what I've got. I couldn't tell in the pics I had if it was a sea shell or a broken antique plate he'd found at a dig somewhere.

Downloaded your data chips. I'm also going to tty to make those orange square things, too. shouldn't be that hard.

Orange one shouldn't be too hard, no. Basically like the data chips [take one to try if you want] and stretch it out. Might need a new uvmap though. It's on the board but I was hoping to find a better picture of it, I "might" have one ... one more folder to search through.
