    The Voyage Continues....

Per a request by Bluto, we have created a set of the iconic Captain's wraparound uniforms using Uzilite's The New Adventures for both M4 and V4.....

He has also requested a set of wraparounds for each of the divisions.....

I'll be posting these soon in Sharecg.com.....

Posted ... Star Trek Online has moved to Post 4 because we were running out of space lol ...

Not that anybody is interested but I'm pleased to have finally created a shirt with collar that works with many of the more extreme morphs, trade off being it would need some tlc texturing and/or little morph adjustments for drastically normal figures such as V6.

Your uniform is looking really good!!! in regards to the Star Fleet Online running out of space, don't worry about it, I'm pretty much ran out of ideas of doing any more uniforms...I might finish up one or two more, but that's about it.

Ah but once the texturing bug has struck you know ;-) Lots of room now for more entries :-)
I was expecting this to happen as all the past list posts were very long hence the couple of extra posts were tucked in there too.

Working on the Base Commander's desk. Top 2 pics are screen shots from Sketch-up. The bottom 2 are renders from Poser 9. Lots of buttons still to be done, plus another side of the desk yet.

Thanks, guys. I think the desk is the last piece I need to make- IF I can find the right furniture. They used a kind of molded plastic chairs that I haven't been able to find. Any ideas?

I can't think of any 3D source, but as far as information on the actual furniture used in the series, you might want to check out Catherine Bujold's: Sorellarium13 website. She's an interior designer (I think) that uses the style seen in Space: 1999 in her own interior-design work. She documents her search for original furniture and her remodeling of her own house to look like Moonbase Alpha at:

Could not find anything I was happy with. So I resorted to attempting them myself. Not totally happy with the result, but they'll have to do. It was either the conversation setting or the conference table and I wanted room to move the characters around. Now for the couches and tables.

Well, here's what I ended up with. I just need to build a detention cell and - for my needs- the base will be done.

    Looking good mdbruffy!!

Here is a sneak peek at the M4 Klingon top. Its still in the works and now a conforming figure top. The pants and boots are Valiant for M4. Special thanks to Vanishing Point for making my props a conforming figure... they are currently adding morphs.

Working on the uniform for the crew of the USS Kelvin (M4 Bodysuit)... circa 2230s. shown at the beginning of Star Trek JJAbrams first movie....Still got to do the V4 version.

    From Star Trek Wikipedia ...
"Starfleet uniforms of the 2230s were designed as tight fitting body suits with black piping running across the front of the yoke and onto the upper sleeves. A Starfleet insignia, or assignment patch, was worn on the upper left breast pocket. There were at least three division colors: blue for the command division, including tactical, a goldish green, presumably engineering, and a pearl grey, which is presumably non-medical sciences and/or security. The medical staff wore white. (Star Trek)

The duty uniform consisted of a tight fitting shirt with black piping running across the yoke and down the sleeve until the elbow. These shirts were divided into the three division colors, and came with appropriately colored pants. The pants themselves had two pockets on the front and were worn with a gold belt and buckle that a communicator could be attached to. Rank was displayed on the sleeve cuffs. "

Comments welcomed, please let me know if this uniform is of interest and I can post when I'm finished.

Yes, please. Also, I was wondering, if you were going to make the wrap around Captain's tunic for V4 as well. I'd say yes, please to that one as well.

Thank you! Even though I didn't include any images or V4, the zip for the M4 Captain's Tunic also includes the V4 version. As the zip was so small, I decided to combined both. Sorry if I wasn't clear on this.

Looks like I didn't upload the correct zip (ie with the V4 files in it)!!!..... Updated zip and re-posted. Sorry for the inconvenience.
