Working on the uniform for the crew of the USS Kelvin (M4 Bodysuit)... circa 2230s. shown at the beginning of Star Trek JJAbrams first movie....Still got to do the V4 version.

    From Star Trek Wikipedia ...
"Starfleet uniforms of the 2230s were designed as tight fitting body suits with black piping running across the front of the yoke and onto the upper sleeves. A Starfleet insignia, or assignment patch, was worn on the upper left breast pocket. There were at least three division colors: blue for the command division, including tactical, a goldish green, presumably engineering, and a pearl grey, which is presumably non-medical sciences and/or security. The medical staff wore white. (Star Trek)

The duty uniform consisted of a tight fitting shirt with black piping running across the yoke and down the sleeve until the elbow. These shirts were divided into the three division colors, and came with appropriately colored pants. The pants themselves had two pockets on the front and were worn with a gold belt and buckle that a communicator could be attached to. Rank was displayed on the sleeve cuffs. "

Comments welcomed, please let me know if this uniform is of interest and I can post when I'm finished.

    Sure and thank you.

It is set up for Poser as that is what I use but if any of you clever people know how to set her up for Daz . I'd be glad to incorporate it and give you the credit :-)

Thank you! She's a pretty ship and a great addition to the fleet.
    Thanks glad you like her:-)

Yes, please. Also, I was wondering, if you were going to make the wrap around Captain's tunic for V4 as well. I'd say yes, please to that one as well.

Thank you! Even though I didn't include any images or V4, the zip for the M4 Captain's Tunic also includes the V4 version. As the zip was so small, I decided to combined both. Sorry if I wasn't clear on this.

Looks like I didn't upload the correct zip (ie with the V4 files in it)!!!..... Updated zip and re-posted. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cool!! I'll redownload that one. Thanks for checking, and the quick reply.

I hope everyone is doing well, with all the new variations on Uniforms, I thought show one I have been working one for Uzilite's set. I remember a while back when Rduda came up with a variation of the TWOK era uniform using it and I kinda went the same route. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Glad to see Uzilite's The New Adventures uniform getting a little love....

Working on JrVilmurs (NVert3d) "Explorer M4 for Poser "which was recently released .... I'm hoping to do a few texture packs for these uniforms, this is to see how it works.

Those are looking cool, rschulte. I did want to remind you that, even at the Academy, they did have an alternate of the female uniform that was pants, jacket and boots, similar to the male uniform.

Those look great. I hadn't thought of trying to use the Uzilite outfit that way and am now kicking myself for it.

There's a free living room furniture set today in the store. And yes it has normal .pp2 files ;-)

This part was an easy conversion to a D/S file :-)
Size is as it was. I changed nothing on that.

You mean the Living Room e-mail freebie? That set doesn't include furniture, just the base room and a few filler props. The furniture in the promos is from the Queen Anne Parlor Furniture set.

Don't know if Daz Studio works with it or not, But just bought and installed Vue 2014 while it was on sale. Didn't realize what a limited library it had. When I get the time, I'll have to go back to their site and do some shopping.

Well, good luck. I went there and tried to download the free edition and after quite a long time, still zippo on the download.

It took several minutes to download this version. It came in two zips. The first one was quick, but the second one took alomst 10 minutes due to it's size.

Not so sure you'd want to free edition- the finished renders get watermarks slapped across them.

True ... however since I've encountered website issues over there before, wasn't about to give them money if they haven't made the site easy for my browser use. I consider the PLE a "test it to see if it works first" type thing.

The one person chair is a slightly different story. Resizing it for G wasn't a problem but it appears to be impossible to uvmap as is. Whatever uvmapping it came with was not readable in D/S. [means item can only be a solid color]
In Hexagon it showed as "out of bounds", and okay I could slap on a uvmap, but not unfold it.
I tried running it through 3D Coat and while it appeared to uvmap it [in a million pieces lol ...] whatever it exported [and to note that it always downgrades the .obj on export too], was totally not readable in either Hexagon or D/S.
I like the style though so shall see if I can't get a quick remake done for myself.

V4 also gets a pant suit option...

    Star Trek JJAbrams V4 Dress

Like my TNGEra Troi bodysuit, this is to be used as alternate service uniform for V4.

    Enjoy!

zee chair ... remade for D/S, and I actually managed to uvmap it in Hexagon :-)
So yes, now have chair for D/S which I thought you might to see Madison so here it is. Now, you'll love this. The spot render was just fine. The small test render was just fine. So made the larger render for to post. Who needs green textures with D/S?! Does it for free .... sigh.
So in case anybody wonders why i usually leave lights off, this is it. Also can produce a lot of colourful pixels all over the place.

nothing in the 1999 set was mapped except the comm post. The wall sections have material zones because they were assigned in Sketch-up. The chairs and the couch and the table are not mapped because in the show they were white.
