Pretty good game.. Packers ahead right now, which I didn't expect, but there's lots of game left.

    Time for another beer... ;-)

Looks like the Hawks have corrected that.

Morning. A mob of turtledoves in our garden cooing and scratching for breakfast making for a noisy start to the day :)

Hmmm...we have Mourning Doves around here...I couldn't say that they're noisy. In the city there are Rock Doves (what people commonly call pigeons). There were a lot of them in my old city. I don't go into the center much here. I don't think I ever saw a Mourning Dove before I moved here.

The turtledoves travel in packs and make a huge noise especially when they come across food and quarrel over it :)

There's a Darwin Toon Monkey...but there has been one for a few years over at Content Paradise...the same name. It's a Smith Micro product. I wonder if the management at DAZ3D knows about that. Maybe they think it doesn't matter. Maybe they're right. I don't know. *shrug* :blank:

    Dana

Oh, I just noticed it's Darwin the Toon Chimp. So close, though.

Yeah - GB just couldn't last. I thought it was a decent game, regardless of GB getting run over.

Football finals on at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (don't ask!) round the corner, there are many helicopters making noise and scaring off the birds :)

Got reminded today of someone (KK I think) mentioning Hatch Chile recently. As I live in New Mexico and it's Hatch harvest time I'm breathing the stuff most of the day at work every day. LOL
There's two roaster's that take 30 lbs each sitting at the end of the building so the smoke from them blows into the store. Good smelling but eye and nose burning!

    :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

    LOL
It's not quite as bad as it sounds. The roasting only lasts until the village of Hatch finishes harvesting the chile. Which takes from mid August to around mid September.
The crazy thing this year is I've had customers tell me that we are the only people in the area that actually have Hatch grown chile. They say that everyone else has some Hatch seed stuff grown in California instead. Weird. Especially since at least two of the stores in Clovis have the same supplier we do so they can get the real thing.

    That's odd... I wonder what's up with that? :-S
My guess would be cheaper because much more acreage is in use. Thus lower price despite being trucked farther.

Sorry, but they are not Hatch chiles if grown somewhere else. Just cheap imitations.

maybe tie 'em together so they complimentary?
like umm the writing project lady is a customer at Vicki's Diner, the music could be mood backdrop set the tone of dark orleans.

That'd be tough.. Vicky's world is a lot different than Raven DeLacroix's New Orleans.. it's best to keep 'em independent, trying to weave it all together would be a nightmare! :ahhh: To much for a fish to handle, even SPACE TROUT!

Double cheeseburger for lunch, free leftover at the office mean FREE LUNCH!! :cheese:

You do realize that that is the name of a famous soft-porn star, right? I knew it sounded familiar so I Googled it. She started in the early-to-mid 70's in Russ Meyer films, like Up!

    Dana

I assume that is not the whimsical movie up with the nice old gentleman and the helpful young scout and the dog with the translator thing?

As I said, it's from the early 1970's, so no.

    Dana
Thought so. I do not know anything about soft porn, but I do know soft corn is easier to eat than hard corn.

it seems the pumpkin spice latte is the pumpkin spice without the pumpkin.

it's humid here. typical storms this weekend.

    Friday!

if i take the bus all the way to the mall, could go to cheese cake factory and still have time to take the bus home before they stop running.

we have one blind guy on our bus, is an unspoken agreement with us bus regulars to leave his favorite seat open.
when someone sits in it iz a cascade effect, we all lose our favorite seats.

gonna try to do a lil bit of everything this weekend. loading up ole posette for a tinker at her eyebrows.

can't decide what to use my d.o.voucher on?
