sitting at the helm.
need to shop for a walking cane. ended up calling a taxi this morning, to the bus stop,
I got my metal leopard-print walking stick at Walgreens for $23! :bug: Comfy and kind of stylish.
I found a few online, but about twice the price. :smirk:
Made good progress.. got a VERY broad plot outline and a pile of characters and places. Things should come together fairly quickly once I really get rolling. :)
Here's hoping...!
heading into winter is a good time for writing projects, eh? :) not so much going out.
need to shop for a new capt's chair for at home, recliner is comfy, but trances have a tendency to turn into naps.
no wet nose nuding on my elbow to keep me up
dual monitor is nice. can keep my character and muses up, and still have wordpad open.
i've finally learned not to type in Word, auto-correct is hotel echo limi lima on fantasy-scifi terms.

I just have my laptop.. sigh.. but Scrivener lets you switch between windows almost instantly and has this amazing "cork board" display where I can click a "card" and see all the details, or just look at the overview. Dual monitors would be nice but.. it'd be another thing to move. :long:
The better I learn Scrivener, the more inspired I am to write. :cheese:

every little bit helps.
I'm alone so much, my book characters are my friends. and gianni and Leon of the night. :)
none of them can brew a decent cup of tea or coffee. on the other hand, they don't drink up my beer.
My biggest hurdle is remembering that I can't do more than one project in an area at a time. :blank:
So it's ONE writing project, ONE Webcomic project, and ONE music project. Any more than that and I'd roll over and play dead.
At least both the writing and music projects are a series, so there's not a lot of jumping around there.. I need to get back to my album project, too..
Payday tomorrow! :cheese:
maybe tie 'em together so they complimentary?
like umm the writing project lady is a customer at Vicki's Diner, the music could be mood backdrop set the tone of dark orleans.
That'd be tough.. Vicky's world is a lot different than Raven DeLacroix's New Orleans.. it's best to keep 'em independent, trying to weave it all together would be a nightmare! :ahhh: To much for a fish to handle, even SPACE TROUT!
Double cheeseburger for lunch, free leftover at the office mean FREE LUNCH!! :cheese:

...same here. Fortunately Leela is a "lightweight" so it would take only one beer to make her giggly if she were able to drink it.
In the story she prefers Kruškovac (a Croatian liqueur made from pears), Slivoitz (a plum brandy), or a dram or two of vintage port.
Save for Sake (served traditionally). Kelly (KK the character) is not much of a drinker as her father had serious issues with alcohol. Root Beer tends to be her "social" beverage of choice.
ROOT BEER FLOAT!
this chair looks captainy. reminds me of capt picard for some reason.
i know, cuz the colors look like a nextgen uniform. tee hee hee
the Volmar. hmmm with or w/o armrests
..awake earlier today. Slowly been adjusting my schedule to more of a daytime rather than afternoon/night one in preparation for a workaday life again. Don't have much of a social life anyway.
Still need to find a freebie model of one of those personal shopping carts for a scene I'm working on. Also need to get better with Garibaldi Express, to create more "lifelike" hair. In some cases and lighting situations, Transmapped hair doesn't look as good.
*Sigh* PA sale on and only have a bit of credit left. Not a member of PC+ so can't use my 6$ coupie. Need to get cracking on this month's RRRR submission (missed last month due to all the RL rubbish of losing my Net access & such).
Odd, feel like I've been here a good part of the day already and it's not even 09:30.

NFL Season Kickoff tonight, Green Bay at Seattle. Should be a good one, Packers 5 point favourites. Really looking for a bit of payback after that poorly officiated game a couple years ago with the substitute refs where they totally muffed a call (the NFL afterwards admitted it was a bad call) which gave the game to Seattle. Have a friend who works at the neighbourhood market who is going up for the game today. [insert envy emote here]. I'll just have to go to a pub to watch.

Looks as if the Milwaukee Brewers certainly picked the wrong time of the season to go into a swoon. After leading the NL Central Division since Mid April they are now 3 games behind St Louis after being swept by of all teams, the lowly cellar dwelling Chicago Cubs, extending the current losing streak to 8 games. The once hottest team in the majors has become as ice cold as its hometown's most famous product. Tonight begins a three game series with the now high flying Cardinals which could lead to extending the Brewer's losing streak to double digits as the "big Milwaukee bats" have apparently gone to into hibernation for the coming winter.
Look for the slide to continue in September, in spite of Milwaukee bolstering its bullpen through a late August trade with the Cincinnati Reds, and the reigning NL Champion Cardinals once again taking Central Division crown.

Why not create a new dictionary and add things to it when it finds something it doesn't like? Better than than let a lot of spelling and grammar errors slip by. Looks unprofessional. One of my pet peeves, I guess.

Mum will be watching tv tonight, the nfl network which I do not get. She gets more channels than I do but then she is the one in charge of her tv service as she pays for it directly (and she uses directtv which has back ticket)
My service comes with the rent and I have no control over what channels we get so no BBC America for me. At least I can get my favorite BBC show via amazon and can watch it on my kindle. It is cheaper to do non HD version and HD is not needed to watch it on my tablet.

You do realize that that is the name of a famous soft-porn star, right? I knew it sounded familiar so I Googled it. She started in the early-to-mid 70's in Russ Meyer films, like Up!

I know.. right now it's a working name until I can come up with something else, maybe Rachel DeLacroix or such. Or maybe I'll add an erotic spin to the series! :snake: %-P :red:

As I said, it's from the early 1970's, so no.

That Hurrycane looks wild.. I'd get a ton of questions about it. Might look into it, it sure has "something different" and I do tend to "offroad" a lot across grass, gravel, pretty much anything! :red:
I wish I were at home, rendering and writing... :long:
