Got a few things in my wishlist on sale.. semi happy-ish now. :blank:

Drinking some zero-calorie Powerade to hydrate up.. it's some weird, radioactive-looking yellow color and tastes like lemons, if you made lemons out of atomic trash and plastic. :blank:

    Ugh.

The nuclear-coolent blue tastes OK, but the store was out, so it was either the sickly yellow or the venomous green. :long:

Houdini Indie is only $199! :ahhh:

Home now but I have a headache. I might have to be taking a pain killer at midnight because I have been complaining about pain too much.

...well tomorrow begins my return to the working world. Odd hours to start 13;30 - 22:00 so no point in a major shopping trip as I'm not about to cook a full meal after 23:00 at night. Only a 30 min lunch break and nothing but an overpriced mini mart within walking distance so looks like packing in a cold sandwich lunch 5 days a week for the next 6 weeks *bleah*.

Will only be able to do home cooked stuff on the weekends.

Unfortunately the "early" training shift begins before the buses start running out in that area.

Hopefully after the training I'll be put on a more "civil" schedule. Not thrilled with the idea of waiting over 25 min for a bus after 22:00 every night pretty much out in the "boonies".

    ...ugh, hope things definitely improve.

For me lately it's been my hands and fingers and even Advil doesn't always help. Not very good considering I will be starting a job tomorrow that requires a lot of keyboarding.

Complaint: Normally Monday is one of my days off. Not this time. I'v got a bug that's trying to take hold so I got too wiped out yesterday to finish work that needs to be completed before tomorrow morning so I went in this morning to finish it. After a few hours I got a call from my hubby saying I needed to come home, he had a serious problem. He wasn't kidding. When your pee is brown with a few blood clots you need to see a doctor immediately! Spent almost three hours in the emergency room. After a CT scan, blood tests and they analyzed the urine sample he brought in they still didn't have an answer. He figures that either he had a single kidney stone and it passed without him realizing it because of his very high pain tolerance (he says he has had a little back pain recently but that isn't unusual for him) or he is having a reaction to the energy drinks I've been getting him recently. He's going to monitor himself and see what happens. After they released him from the hospital I went back to work and finished up the stuff I needed to get done. Loooooooong day for what is supposed to be a day off!

Non-complaint: On the other hand the blood test showed his A1C to be 5.8 (that's in the non-diabetic or "normal" range) and he has "normal" kidney function etc, which is great for someone who got diagnosed as diabetic five years ago with a fasting blood sugar level of 200!

    Geez, I hope he's OK.

Energy drinks are on average a bad idea, regardless of whether they caused this.

Yes is the age of miracles, but the nonprofit TV stations are all closing down here and Blackmagic cameras have been selling real cheap so indi film and TV are suddenly all 2K minimum as producers migrate to OTT and IPTV streaming  Messiah is running a real cheap subscription offer, saw a Lightwave crossgrade sale for $650 :)

Thanks and agreed. He was looking for something he could drink that tasted different. If it turns out that he needs to drop this stuff he will. He's able to stay on a keytogenic diet because he dosen't want to go blind. That same determination will allow him to stay away from this energy drink if it turns out to be the cause of his current problem.

My best wishes for Xaa, I hope it turns out to be a temporary and easy to remedy condition.

Going to have lots of rain today and tomorrow - possibility of localized flooding. Makes me want to dig out my steel toe boots rather than dress sandals. Tropical moisture from the Gulf is rolling over South Texas - could see as much as 2 inches today.

Getting the dog to go outside this morning was a challenge. She absolutely hates wet grass (not that I blame her) and she's so low to the ground that even cut this weekend, it's going to touch her tummy. But while coaxing her out into the grass, I spotted a hummingbird in our backyard. That was cool.

Also, Terre and others in the South West, I hope nothing bad happens from all the rain produced by the remnants of that hurricane.

Lightwave seems to be struggling, what with C4D, Maya, and now Houdini becoming more "affordable".. even Modo is within reach if I stopped going out for a month (lol)!

Just not sure I really *need* anything else than DS 4.6.. :blank: ... if only DS had particles.. le sigh.

We had some proper rain today for an hour or so, can only dream of inches of water - will take more if you want to nudge it our way :)
