Thanks @Novica! Image Link fixed as you explained in your post, thankyou!
Reminder- use your DAZ+ coupons before tomorrow! Even if the code has already changed, just put February as the month. I don't know if they have changed it early, but stupidly, they usually do.
What are you all getting with the 85% off 3 DOs coupon?
I'm planning to get:
Josie 9 Mega Bundle
$30.00 85% Off
Pixie 9 Winter Fairy Bundle
$13.50 85% Off
Pixie 9 Fairy Bundle
$21.00 85% Off
I got:
Josie 9
88092
$9.00
Vekko University Hair for Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 Males
87337
$3.60
Masculine Textures for dForce Core Zone Outfit
87815
$2.55
What coupon? I don't see it on the site, no banner, nothing.
check your store messages. The orange banner has disappeared but I still have it in my messages
I've checked, and I have nothing in my messages. I guess I just didn't get it.
Drats, doesn't work for me.
I had the notification for the coupon, it didn't work. Gave up and forgot about it. Almost didn't cash out last night. And now just bought Thimor 9's Mega. But it took time to figure out the buy-in for the best offer. Decided the two $3.99 items where there were items I could use, instead of three $2.99 items I had passed by so many times. Had three test carts. And used the DAZ+ coupon. But credit is almost wiped out. So will be wish listing a lot from now on.
Also adding a single cheap Mad Related item will significantly reduce the price of the Thimor 9 MegaBundle. And there are some $1.19 Mad Related DAZ+ items.
Charlie, my problem is that I have gone crazy in the past buying up those DAZ+ items, so now when I look at them there are only a few and very old. Add to that I have been building my 8Tb library from my runtime and that is driving my purchases now. That character, outfit, set, prop... that I bought without thought in previous years and never used and I am not installing on the MacBookPro, well not buying a similar item now. So a lot of new and old things are not being bought. Even to make a sale drop lower.
I am buying more scripts. I seem to have gotten over my fear of them. And things that work across generations.
Mary
@memcneil70 Yep, scripts scare me. I've got SO many and never touched them. Same for Fluidos, Terradome, etc. I'm just too busy to fiddle anymore, so if it isn't a fast load-and-go I just don't mess with it. So impressed with everything you tackle!
Charlie, you're the king of sales- you always know what to get to get the best prices
Oh heck yea- every President with a mullet.
Hail to the mullet! See them all here: https://twitter.com/hamcarless/status/1630765933768724483?s=46&t=6LtbINbDGBGEIaKwpJDG8w
Working with Red Crow Inn. The only figures in the scene are the dog, cat and rat the rest are billboards :)

@fishtales It's amazing those are billboards! Love the cat playing with the rat's tail.
@fishtales I echo @Novica's comments and can only say I am amazed. It is as if I am looking back in time.
Outstanding work sir.
Mary
@memcneil70
Thank you.
Oooh, this is the best tropical fish / turtle / eel / etc live cam!
Novica, that is a wonderful stream. I am going to share it with my flatmate so he can play it when he is doing other things. He will love it.
Thank you so much.
Mary
Did you get to see the Loggerhead Turtle? I've seen him twice. Such a thrill! (And the eel coming out of the hole. Scary!)
No, I was working on the MBP, still adding in my sub-categories to my Props, up to 'Manor Courtyard'. I would turn back to the iMac to rest my eyes periodically to it.
But Thom loved the screen as he looked at it on my iMac as he walked through the living room from work.
SW Cottage Porch
I'm cruising through some of my sets, these are just quickie sample renders, aka about 40% or less rendered. The Cottage Porch has SO many props and great views. I really like the worn steps with paint missing, if you don't like that you can easily color it in. The little bird house is such a cute addition, and also the wind chimes.
@Novica: That product is really beautiful! Got it some days ago during MM in a grabbag.
SW Cottage Porch Rattan Dreams
Having fun- here's the yard from Cottage Porch with the bushes moved to the fence, with Rattan Dreams and the walls removed. Voila, an open air back porch we'd all love to lounge in! So, have you ever combined two sets with a fun result? Play around and if you get a chance, post your combos. Just try removing walls and see what outdoors sets go well with the interior sets. You can create some really fun outdoor living areas! We did this a few years ago and it was fun, I took stuff from a dinosaur graveyard and used the bones as wall decor.
This is 80 percent rendered, no postwork/adjustments.
Thanks, although I do need to add some column supports for the far left. The overhang is too large. The bottom left corner where the support column would be is out of scene, but I'd have to add the other one for sure. I just noticed that LOL.
SW Cottage Porch Rattan Dreams
Here's the fix to a wall that needs support for an outdoor scene. I put the wall back in view, and it happened to have curtains. So heh-heh-heh- easy fix. Just rendered the wall and then took it all out except the curtains. Now that extended "overhang" (aka the ceiling of the house originally) has a support, hidden by curtains. I amaze myself sometimes LOL. (aka, happy accident that wall had curtains, I was looking to put in some kind of partial wall from a outdoor venue.
I'd need to take it into Luminar 4 and put some sun on it (it shouldn't be in shade based on the sunlight) but just wanted to show a fix if you ever try something like this. OR- You could take off the side wall of the house, (would be the one behind the couch) and render that indoor room (with the curtains) so it would get the same light as the covered scene.
I like it too. It's like, were it painted white, my Great Grandparents house.
