I think I am trying to get out of a toxic relationship. It is not easy but I hope I can do it.

ooo yayy my neighbor wants to take me out for lunch. goin india food. theres a all you can eat buffet at kiran palace. wearin stretchy pants.

I never thought about wearing stretchy pants. My husband took me to Steak & Ale (years ago). After stuffing my self, I undid my jeans, ate a big slice of French silk pie, then got ready to leave. Yikes! There was a 4" gap in the waistband of my jeans that would not fasten no matter how hard I tried. Mac and I sat there awhile longer, drinking coffee. Finally he told me to just pull my shirt down as far as I could, stick my hands in my pockets, and walk out like nothing was wrong. It worked and we had many laughs about it through the years. It taught me to not stuff myself in a public restaurant. Now I can put on my stretchy pants and go back to the Cuban Cafe and hit the pastries. Yum yum. Thank you, Misty!

It has a cool pinball game. At least our laptop has one. Are you in tile mode? Do you realize that you can boot into desktop mode if you want?

Yes. When in the tile mode, there is a tile at the far left, bottom row, that is your desktop image. Click on it and you go into desktop mode. You can pin things to the taskbar so you can easily launch them next time you want to. I have set up our laptop to always boot into desktop mode. You can switch between modes at will, there are some things in the tile mode that are useful and only available in that mode.

Also, you can have a real start menu again if you want it (who wouldn't?). Thanks to bitdujour.com I found a great one! It's called StartMenuX. I got it for $6 through bitsdujour, but it's often on sale for $10 at the original site. StartMenuX. It is well worth the price, very easy to use and configurable, and nice looking! I highly recommend it!

Sunday morning - and it's FROZEN WATER OM THE SKY! :ahhh: :bug:

Not enough to cause too much mayhem, at least so far, just a light dusting, hopefully no accumulation. :blank:

Have leftover pizza, hot wings, and some moo goo gai pan so I'm ready for anything! :cheese: I even managed to remember to pick up soe half-and-half so my coffee has nice creamer in it, oh yum! :)

3 more items and all my content is downloaded! :bug: :bug: Going to set aside some time to work on a pinup... :red:

Unless a miracle happens or I lose my marbles, I'm not going out today. :smirk:
