Has anybody bought the Merlin Pro bundle and can verify that you get everything from the description (the product list pics seems to be missing some products)
Also, on the product page for Wizard's Beard and Brows for Genesis 8.1 Males I observed that all product images feature only the beard. Brows are not shown in any product images other than the main product image. There they are black and in shadow, so no way to make out any detail. This was made by Laticis, so I'm certain the brow detail is excellent, but I would still like to see this important part of the product.
I bought the Pro Bundle and I did think that Wizard's Beard and Brows for Genesis 8.1 Males would be included, never looked at the actual Pro Bundle page, because it was clustered under its products on the main page. But you are correct, it was not included. Was it supposed to be? This would not be the first bundle item that was not pictured on a bundle's promo pages, but was included. And tha beard & brows were not included with the 'Add-ons'.
Can we find out what it is actually?
Something definitely seems to be wrong. If you look at the Wizard's Beard and Brows for Genesis 8.1 Males poduct page it shows it as part of the starter bundle but not the pro bundle.;but if you look at the stater bundle product page it is not shown there.
Would some kind mod please get a clarification of this?

It looks like the contents of the Merlin 8.1 Pro Bundle have now been updated to include the Wizard's Beard and Brows for Genesis 8.1 Males as well as both nthe HD and Metamixer addons.

Did you purchase the Pro Bundle before DAZ updated the contents? If so, you may have to file a help ticket to get it added.

Might consider sending in a ticket just to be sure. I had this happen on a previous bundle and the missing item didn't show up until after I filed a ticket for it
Yes, if you purchased before the bundle was fixed please open a support ticket
The Wizard's Beard and Brows has shown up in my Download tab of DIM. So if you downloaded already, open DIM and see if you have it now.

BTW, I don't know it this was just one of my computers, but 20 items downloaded with filler thumbnails, so I got to make them. They were for the King's Magister Bundle, The Alchemist Workshop, and the Young Wizard Outfit's bits and pieces. I just discovered a new reason to not care for the exploded product bundles that clutter my runtime. Before, I would have only had to create 3 thumbnails.

There are Flash Sales almost daily on everything but I still never saw any on Interactive License prices.
Well ... I am confused by the Fantastic-Deal sale ... what are the correct parameters or limits or necessary items? I only got $10 dollars off so far with or without a new item.
You don't need to buy a new release at all. You can get $36 ($18 x 2) worth of free items by using the coupon twice.
It seems to take the $18 off the base price, not the current price of the product. So being a Daz+ member, you're already losing the default 30% daz discount.
Thank you much - by now, I should have caught that. It explains the amount that is being taken off. But it does not explain not getting the further discount once a new item is added.
I have an item with the base price of 24.95. With just that item, it becomes 6.95. Adding a new reselease took it to zero.

It's hard to believe that it doesn't stack with the normal 30% off. I can see not stacking with a sale, but not stacking with what would be the normal price for us. That's just rude to DAZ+ members. Feels like a slap in the face. Takes me from being excited about a coupon to frustrated and unhappy with it. Not great PR.

The current application of the FANTASTIC-DEAL coupon discriminates against and insults DAZ+ members.
It's hard to believe that the FANTASTIC-DEAL coupon doesn't stack with the normal 30% off. I can see not stacking with a sale, but not stacking with what would be the normal price for us. That's just rude to DAZ+ members. It truly feels like a slap in the face.

Please change the behavior of this coupon and others like it, even if you have to change the amount to reflect reality or apply it differently. Because the $18 coupon is actually just an $10 coupon for DAZ+ members.
ETA: Reversed my numbers, and it's a $10 coupon, not $8. Corrected that.
I'm usually the first to whine about price, but complaining about what is essentially a freebie? Nope. This was appreciated and I didn't feel discriminated at all.
Of all the times to complain about non stacking discounts, I couldn't think of a less fitting situation.
The non-stacking coupon code is part of a broader pattern, and there's actually a more significant issue here.
In the past, if DAZ announced, say, a 60% off coupon that applied to some DAZ original, then regular users would get the item for 60% off, and DAZ+ users would get it for 72% off (30% discount for DAZ+, followed by 60% sale discount). Now, all users get it for 60% off, because the discounts don't stack.
The effect of this is to wipe out the usefulness of the 30% off discount for DAZ+ users. Unless you absolutely have to have some item RIGHT NOW for a specific project, the smart thing to do is not to buy it at 30% off, but to wait for a better discount to come along. So that perk -- 30% off on DAZ originals -- is now useless (except on newly-released items, where it still combines with the intro 20-30% off to yield a 44-51% discount ... but again, if you don't need it right now, you'd do better to wait).
Something similar applies with the DAZ+ exclusives. Leave aside for a moment the exclusivity part of the perk (which I've never understood; I've never felt that "Only you and the other ten thousand DAZ+ subscribers can have access to this wonderful item ... until it appears in a sale in a few months time" was a particularly strong selling point). The exclusive items are essentially full-priced DAZ Originals, rather than DAZ+ items -- perhaps not unreasonably, as they tend to be very detailed models that obviously took a lot of work to make. Intro prices for these tend to be discounted about 44-47% or so (going by the most recent ones I saw). If DAZ+ Exclusives didn't exist, they'd be sold as DAZ Originals with a 51% intro discount. So, unless exclusivity is valuable to you, this is also a non-perk.
I don't want to be That Guy who whines about pricing all the time (although, given that I've probably put at least two DAZ kids through college with everything I've spent here, I may have earned the right to make the occasional comment on the subject). But it does seem that, intentionally or not, some of DAZ's recent changes have made DAZ+ a less attractive option. There's a sense that the perks offered are being subtly whittled away, which is a bit worrying. It's one thing to think "OK, but it's still a good deal, because these OTHER perks still exist," but it's hard not to think also "But what if something happened to those as well? What if the prices on DAZ+ items kept creeping up? What if they changed the conditions on the monthly coupons, so that they didn't stack either, or you couldn't use the PlatClub coupon on new items, or ...? How good a deal would it be then?"
I guess the answer is that if the perks get eroded to the point where they're not valuable any more, then people will vote with their wallets by not renewing their memberships. There's a lag time of anything from a few months to a year or more on that signal, but eventually DAZ will get the message.
That is exactly what I did, not renew Daz+ when it expired. I haven't regretted it. I might rejoin some day, if there were a super sale, like one year when I got PC+ membership for $12. That was in the good old stacking days. I don't foresee that happening again with the current policies.
I haven't dismissed the issue with non stacking deals, yet it doesn't change the fact that this is one of the worst possible times to complain about it. Half of the list there is free with no catch, with a selection much better than the usual pre g3 freebies. As such, I just can't judge this as I would a regular deal.
I complain because my initial expectations were not met. Daz could have avoided that. I was initially excited that I could get two outfits I had on my wishlist. No, with the coupon, they are 1/3 more expensive than they were on sale recently when I passed on them
I got multiple DAZ+ years when it was on a major sale, and I think I would pass on that sale now. The benefits are definitely phasing down and the prices have been going up. DAZ+ keeps me tempted to buy, not belonging to DAZ+ would be good for my wallet.
I just wish Daz monitored this forum, because y'all's posts are good / input info for them.
I agree that the DAZ+ discount seems to be on the way of being phased out quietly, which is why I won't renew either when my membership runs out. Nevertheless, thanks very much for the unexpected freebies, DAZ - and to you guys here for pointing that deal out, because I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. So thanks all around!
I really feel negtive about these sales needing different coupons to get discounts in two or three categories.
