Anyone else having trouble checking out? Proceeed to Payment gets stuck on the Place Order page, Loading... swirlie. Store credit not available as a method of payment.

Edit: Nevermind. I had accidentally blocked Affirm, which apparently prevents the store from accessing store credit.

I am utterly confused by the sales strategy. Today I am punished for buying something new yesterday. Is that a sensible message to send out? Is this a blip or the new normal?

I am not really bothered, I suppose. But this approach makes me hesitate to buy anything new.

Interactive Licenses at $7 on DAZ Originals but it is not active, all licenses still at full prices, no discount right now.

I've just tried to get the license for the Merlin Pro Bundle previously bought, but that is at $50. In the past, you have been able to add discounted interactive licenses after the original purchase.

I purchased the Merlin 8.1 Pro bundle a few days ago and I can see te 'add interactive license' option in my cart for $7; BUT I can't find a way to purchase just the license without repurchasing the Pro bundle. How are able to purchase licenses for previously purchased products at all?

@James_H todays offer requires you to buy 5 or more of those new items to get the extra 15% (discount only goes from 30% to 40%). And the $10 off in cart excludes new items. So to get the $10, you have to buy at least 1 more item that is not new. Picking 5 items that I want from that selected list and 1 more item to get the $10 off, was still a high total price I was not willing to spend. I cleard the cart.

Discouraging first day buyers with second day discounts seems to be a Daz store trend lately. Remember the times they offerred items at $3.99 and then the next day dropped them to $2.99?

I agree 5 items is a lot: but it just seems a way to kick customers - especially after a rather good day's offering of new items, which promptly drop (if bought in bulk). I'm irritated, but I also cannot quite fathom the strategy.

It works for me - check the Interactive License box on the product page and the Purchased button turns into Purchase License, I can then add just the license to my cart.

My problem is I was not seeing the 'Add Iteractive License' button on the product page  But I think the DAZ DEals plugin was interfering with seeing it. I accidently found that when the plugin is not active then I can see the button. I guess I'll have to mention that to ATI

Is it working now? Daz said they tried it and it's fine on their end. They said if it is still not working take screenshots and submit a ticket so they can troubleshoot it.

It is still not working for me; but as I already mentioned that is only when ATI/Overdrawn's 3rd party 'DAZ Deals' plugin is active. So, it probably is not a DAZ issue.

Daz Deals has an option to hide the interactive license section on product pages.

Thanks. I didn't realize it was checked in my copy (maybe by default). I found it, unchecked it, and it is working now.

Be aware that in the current DAZ flash sale, applying the HAPPY-4-ME coupon can cause prices to actually go up for DAZ+ members on certain items. For example, applying it to an item that is currently discounted by 85% will cause the discount to drop to 70%.

I realize that this is consistent with DAZ's non-stacking policy, but it's a little counterintuitive, and might catch some people unawares.

Yeah, I just noticed this too, almost every single item in my wishlist in that category is actually more expensive with the 'flash sale'

    Non-stacking is a horrendous thing.

In cases like this, this new policy really is a joke and needs to be fixed.

I guess the answer is that if the perks get eroded to the point where they're not valuable any more, then people will vote with their wallets by not renewing their memberships. There's a lag time of anything from a few months to a year or more on that signal, but eventually DAZ will get the message.

That is exactly what I did, not renew Daz+ when it expired. I haven't regretted it. I might rejoin some day, if there were a super sale, like one year when I got PC+ membership for $12. That was in the good old stacking days. I don't foresee that happening again with the current policies.

Your suggestion is something to taker seriously. It makes sense.

Who comes up with these discount combos??  They are more puzzles than an incentive.  angry

I have better things to do with my time than to try to sort through them...

PS, As a DAZ+ member, the $8 Banner items on my W/L have all been cheaper within the past week...

A disincentive to purchase, I agree.

Same I got the $8 coupon banner too but many products with DAZ+ are cheaper than $8 and with flash sales they have been discounted to a lower price anyway in the last month or so.

If they were offering me to purchase more expensive bundles at just $8 with the coupon then that would have been a gift to a loyalty customer and I would have bought immediately.

Sorry guys, sales are too complicated recently. I don't have the time to study the promo page for an hour to find out the best deals.

Plus: Those prices for the recent Pro Bundles are simply to high for me. My sweet spot was around $50. Won't buy a > $70 Pro Bundle. Not to mention the various additions like free products etc. we had in the past.

Plus: No gift card sale upfront. My store credits gone. Even did a hefty purchase without any store credit to grab Ultra Scenery Tropics together with Ultra Scenery XT.
