Am trying to determine the issues so I can report this.

  • GhostDogGhostDog Posts: 156

I have the same issue with being charged for bundles where I already own all the items.

'Beyond that I have to agree that these complete your bundle offers are never good value and I don't understand why. It seems obvious that if you only don't own a few items in a bundle then they aren't of a high priority to you so they would need to be offered at a good discount. With so much content already owned I should be a prime candidate for this kind of offer but every single bundle in my cart looks like I would be better off just waiting for standard sales to get to the missing items .

I usually use these sales to buy bundles where I do all own the item, so that I don't have to see them in the store. Starter bundles, but now all the part bundles which are listed in mega bundles but then still appear.

Daz is working on tracking down the issues.

The Daz coupon is also not playing well with today's offers. I have the bundle with three 13$ off items in my cart and the coupon is only knocking off aroun $4.80 instead of $6. I don't really care, just letting you know.

    Thanks a lot, it's working now :)

It looks as if they've resolved the issue with the "Get these Daz Original Bundles for 50% OFF* the price of the Items you don't own" text in the Complete your Bundle offer section by simply removing that text. Which is perhaps not the resolution that some of us were hoping for, but I guess it takes care of it.

But, it's actually working the way it was expected now. I just cleared a couple of bundles I had completed (and in three cases, that I hadn't completed yet, 2 of which due to parts no longer being available, so I had to pay a few bucks for those missing parts).

Worked both with and without a new release in the cart, by the way.

That bundle promo and pricing is simply beyond me. Take the "Lounging in Lace"-Bundle (which is still new):

    - Is a DAZ original including 8 products and was initially offered for 51% off or $52,90 for DAZ+ members.
    - I grabbed 3 items from the bundle.
    - The deal offers me the bundle now for $50.76 or 53% off.

WFT? Even if I add up the base prices of the remaining single products and take 50% off it would be only $39,89 not to mention any bundle incentive.

[deleted] because I did not read carefully. Thank you so so much DAZ! I cleared 6 characters out of my wish list.

The "Deep Space Staff Picks" bundle appears to be behaving a little strangely just now. On the product page, it's marked as Free. In cart, however, it leaps to $73.48, which I assume means that the "Only pay for the items you don't already own" rule isn't in effect: the three items from the bundle that I don't own would come to a total of about $30 if I were to buy them individually.

CORRECTION: Since I typed this, the bundle is now showing the correct price of $73.48 on the product page, so I guess the caches have caught up. It's still a little overpriced for anyone who owns significant numbers of the products in the bundle, though.

Got an email obout the Deep Space Staff Picks Bundle .I own all but 2 of the items in the bundle but the price in my cart comes to $66.13. That is $33 each for the 2 items I don't own. Thanks, but NO THANKS! So, loyal customers who own a lot miss out on the discounts (such as the 58% off scifi items) ???

Wait. Even if I were to purchase the bundle I still am not getting the 58% discount on the select SciFi items

"Deep Space Staff Picks Bundle" ... "Deep Space" ... Three orbital craft, one terrestrial vehicle, two hairs... Hmm...

Should have called it "Solar System Staff Picks" or something similar. And replaced the rando hairs with space-themed items. Are there any Daz Original planet/star models, HDRI, etc? Plenty of starships, at least.

Why are they giving away the Jackyline textures in the Weekly (ha-ha, should be occasional) Free items ?  When I search for the Jackyline outfit nothing comes up.  We really don't need textures for an outfit that no longer exists.  A lot of the freebies lately are dysfunctional.  Must be confusing for newbies.

I wish they would stop putting "#&order=popular^1&filtered=1" at the end of the lists in the url.  This stops the wish list from functioning and changes the sort order.  I want to be able to choose what order I see things not DAZ.  If it says "New Arrivals"  then let the sort order be New Arrivals and not something they have programmed into the url.  Also, when they makes lists that cause the Wish List to not work, I usually don't shop the sale.  I don't have time to meander through 5000 items.  Just saying, they are doing things to kill sales which I don't think is their goal and if nobody tells them I am not sure this message comes through in their sales numbers as to why people aren't buying.

If you select a different search order, then go back to Newest First that will work.

I was wondering why that didn't work anymore. I hadn't even paid attention to the URL change. I was in the same boat. Open list, close list, move on.

  • firewardenfirewarden Posts: 1,484

Good to know! I'll be trying that myself.

You could just trim the URL by deleting the "#&order=popular^1&filtered=1" and hitting return. Only one refresh needed.

  • firewardenfirewarden Posts: 1,484

That works well, and what I just started doing today due to the above posts.

Obviously I delete that string at the end, but then the Wish List option is not available and then I stop shopping.  I shouldn't have to delete that to start with, we pick what sort order we want, and for those that don't know better they think they are getting the Newest Arrival sort order when they are getting the Most Popular sort order - like why???    Why are they being deceptive and making me go to extra effort to look at a list in the manner in which it is saying it is being sorted???  I really don't understand the lack of logic here.  Illogical - does not compute....

When I deleted that part of the URL and hit Enter, my screen refreshs and the wishlist option, etc., show back up. I'm using Firefox.

It's hit or miss whether the Wish List option shows up and I have not figured out what it is that is letting it or not letting it show up.  I am using Chrome so that I can use the ATI extension.

DAZ-DEALS is on Firefox. I use it there, if that is what you are talking about.

Actually, the extension is available on several browsers, not just Firefox.

On the Semi-Annual sales page, the icons for the Daz + freebies act as Add to Cart buttons instead of taking me to their product pages.
