    The description says this is a morph for Cat Zeus. I take it that we can combine them?

    ...at least Sphinx's don't need dForce fur,

    However, on close examination of a few promo images, it appears there is an extremely short fur texture.  Have a friend who cared for a pair of Sphinx cats last summer and they are totallyhairless.

    the Sphinx seems to come with its own dhair but you could just not use it 

    I don't have either cat yet... but hopefully eventually.

    Still on the fence a bit though as in some ways the base version looks a little "toonish" close up.

    Also wondering what's going on with Alessandro's domestic cat that was mentioned about two years ago.

    The base cat may be a little toony, but the Sphynx morph definitely is not. Probably the best looking cat for DS ever so far. I'm curious to see if more realistic cat morphs will be forthcoming ;).

    As for AM's cat, I'm still waiting. Years is a long time to wait. I may still get it if it ever comes out, but I'm not getting any younger in the meantime. LOL

    Yes I can see that. Zeus with the Sphynx morph is a meatier Sphynx (bet his human staff feeds him really well)

    The texture is part of the Sphynx package. The fur and whiskers is part of the Zeus package.

    I think you may be expecting a little too much of a poseable 3D model. LOL

    I can't seem to get any response on the sales thread, so maybe it's just me - is Zeus cat getting the loyalty discount for anyone when in the cart? I'd love to buy it now that there are these beautiful extra morphs, but the full price is just too steep for me, and the 20% from the 'incredible new' is not really cutting it either. Anyone have the same experience? Or do you all own Zeus already?

    Something like that...

    It's possible to change the texture in Zeus hair color channel to one of the Sphynx textures.

    Some of the included poses look better as well, particularly the running pose as illustrated in posts above. 

    I wonder if some creative morphing might be able to take out a bit of the "tooniness" in the basic cat.

    I agree with you, Vyusur, I don't see any tooniness in Zeus.  I only wish I hadn't had other expenses when he first came out and had bought him then. Now I have two kitties to buy.   I love the Sphynx cat.  My neighbor has a couple of these. smiley
