In my mind, there's no contest. The Hivewire cat looks alien. Some might think Zeus looks toony, but the other is just wrong.

Zeus isn't a typical tom cat, but he is within normal cat looks.

Definitely agree on hivewire cat, just not right.

BTW, do the claws fully retract? Just about all of the renders here show the claws being visible. And that's a long way from universal with most cats.

Zeus has a button on/off for hiding claws.

my cats need one of those on me wearing thin clothing

+ 1, all my house pants are full of tiny holes from where he sits and kindly massages me in the evenings.

I think everyone that's ever had a cat can identify...lol. My thighs look like pincushions laugh

My current cat is so sweet. He just calmly sits there and lets me clip his nails without complaint. My previous cat absolutely refused and was super strong and feisty (part Bengal) so I just had to live with those sharp things lol.

I could clip my kitties claws, but I'd look like a victim of a razor blade factory explosion if I did that. LOL

...when my orange Manx Fatboy was on my lap I could still feel his claws when he started kneading even through a doubled up towel and heavy jeans.   He was a big and strong kitt, yet extremely loveable.

  • Our Albert (my avatar cat) never pulled his old claw sheaths off, he just chewed through them to expose the sharp central claw point. Also, because he treated washing as being an optional activity to be carried out by other cats, he ended up with bacteria laden fuzziness around each claw point. The net result was that every leg puncture wound from his kneading on our laps festered. We have had far fewer stomach upsets since he died...

I took to wearing jeans due to one cat

He would use all four paws to kneed, putting his full weight behind each foot - very painful!

I don't buy too many items right when they come out. I snapped up Zues and his Sphynx add-on the same day they came out. This is the quality 3D cat I've been waiting for since I started this hobby.

    ...thanks. In the cart.

  • I have Zeus now.

Oh boy. Best cat model I have so far. The two running poses are perfect. Simply perfect.

    Richard.
