Oooookay, that's weird... I don't know what I did, but it seems to work fine again...
pwEffect is aplying and rendering for me. You did use the DS4 presets/installer?
DS4 Presets and 3DL.
Ok i agree some of these resources don't work, i bought this PWeffect awhile back and have never gotten the shaders to apply to any surface, i'm using DAZ studio 4.12 with windows 10 pro, i personally don't think this pack works. I have a flame thrower model that comes with flame burst and i can change the flame burst to any of my other shaders but a few sets that don't seem to work like PWeffect, I was thinking the artist who created the PWeffect never paid for interactive license for shaders to show up in pack and can't be applied, i think they are created with a standard license then sold to be interactive in the editor without the right license which might stop shaders from showing up because i have a couple bundles that have some issues and i was thinking it might of been something to do with the artist not buying a full interactive license before selling the asset in store. I don't see why the shader wouldn't just apply like any other shader unless it's not even in the pack and they are just empty icons that load nothing..
Artists should test all content on seperate machine with a different account to verify all contents work as intended or state what is required for an asset to work and display as shown in store. I swear some of these renders shown in store are done in a nuclear reactor tied to a bank of mainframe computers like the WARPA from that old movie War Games. not a normal machine's CPU because the quality is fairly high for the renders produced, hard to replicate without knowing the right settings used.
That doesn't mean anything at all. There's no "full interactive license" to buy to create content or to get it to work. Interactive license simply gives you permission to use the content in games, it doesn't modify content in any way. The notion of "interactive license" didn't even exist when those shaders were created (the original version was made for DS1 looong ago).
Did you try to render those shaders with Iray? pwEffect shaders are custom 3DL shaders and they won't work at all with Iray.
For the record, those shaders have been in the store for years and have been used by scores of users along those years. They work perfectly well when used with the render engine they're designed for.
The only problem is I had to hide the mouth because it showed through the skin. Also removed brows and lashes.
Haunted stome required additional light.
