I wish I was a red head as I find red hair beautiful

I tried giving my avatar my red hair, but it didn't make her look any more beautiful

They are all over Austin and quite a nuisance. In my neighborhood they usually hang out at McDonald's. Ian and I picnicked in the park yesterday. I dropped a potato chip and a grackle eased up, snatched it, and ran away. Their voices are rough.

Grackles crackle and cackle! I used to get dive-bombed walking up to the bus stop on Burnet, dang things are pretty fearless.

First time I heard a grackle, I thought it was a blown transformer.. they're weird birds!

    Friday, but COMPLAINTS!

    - Shoulders and neck are KILLING me
    - Tummy not overly happy
    - ZERO enthusiasm :blank:
    - Too much work to do

    Non-complaints:

    - Payday :cheese:
    - EXCELLENT weather!
    - Children's Cancer charity tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday :cheese:
    - Maybe content money left

The Cimmaron biker bar is having a 3 day event to raise money for a local children's cancer hospital, I bought a weekend pass so I have my wristband pass on and will go straight to the bar after work. Music, beer, food trucks.. raffles, t-shirts, and swag (Budweiser is a sponsor so free beer mugs). Normally I'm even less charitable than Scrooge, but no kid should have cancer. :red:

    SMALL soda: $4 :bug:

$20 plus bus fare.. forget that..

Rent a movie on Amazon: $5
Orville Redenbacher Movie Theater Butter popcorn, 2 bags: $4
Two liter bottle of soda: $3

$12 and no bus fare, plus no screaming kids, and I can pause the movie to take a Nature break.

Tried to relax from DAZzing but I can't breathe!

Not sure what the problem is but it started yesterday. I opened up another (but different brand) leftover Easter chocolate bunny and nibbled his ear. Then shortly I started coughing up foamy phlegm. Yuk! A few hours later it settled down but I was still coughing about every 10 minutes and quickly emptying a box of Kleenex. I only got a few hours sleep last night because of having to cough up more gook every 15 or 20 minutes.

This morning I seemed OK after about 3 hours of continuous sleep and went to breakfast with a friend. When I got back, the neighbor's cat was meowing at my door so I petted her and sat with her on the porch a while then went in the house and sat down to watch the morning news. About 15 minutes later I was coughing up phlegm again. I'd suspected that I was allergic to that cat. Now I'm pretty sure it is the trigger of this problem, not the chocolate, because I had pet the cat yesterday too.

I love cats and have had several myself over the years, but this one seems to not agree with me. :-S

Any ideas on how to neutralize cat allergens? I've changed my shirt and washed my hands but I'm afraid I've transferred allergens from my shirt to my recliner chair.

Being a scientist by nature I'd thought of taking another bite of chocolate and decided that if I died I wouldn't try it again.

I don't know. It seems that they're not the same around here. I can stand in front of the sink in the kitchen, looking out the window, and just wavy my arm once, and they'll all scatter. I wouldn't call that fearless. When outside, I've never been approached by one. In fact, they all fly away when I walk around the corner into the back yard. Maybe the ones out west are paranoid from eating too much peyote or something.

I wish I was a red head as I find red hair beautiful

I've been every color from silver to black. I keep coming back to my red though. No matter what color I dye it my family (and ex) always think of me as a redhead. Don't know about it being sexy or beautiful, but it does serve as a visual warning that my temper is to be avoided.

If you want to be a redhead, Kulay, go for it. If you do go red, don't get a tan. We burn and freckle, not tan.

So true, My poor cousin had served several years in the RAF, really loved what he was doing, until they sent him to Cyprus. He was very ill for a while with heat stroke and then had to accept a medical discharge when he was returned to the UK, the argument being that serving personnel couldn't pick and choose their postings, so someone who couldn't take the heat was no good to them.

The good news is I don't have a stye. I have pink eye. I have antibiotic eye drops, which is working to clear up the redness. But that means no contact lenses when we go to see Avengers 2 in 3D on Saturday

Good news yay ! Apparently the new Avengers is so startling you need sunglasses anyhow

...right, that lanky, leggy Mrs Peel in her shiny skin tight leather bodysuit, so stunn-....ooops,....different Avengers.
Accurate description of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow though. :)

Not, hay fever, not cat allergy, I've apparently got the flu. Moan, groan, headaches, joint aches, muscle aches, tummy aches, dizziness, tinnitius blaring in my ears, arthritis flaring up in hands, hips, knees & feet, super tired, can't sleep because of coughing.

I tried to go into town today and see a movie (Avengers: 3D Ultron) but even that didn't sound like fun in my condition. I got as far as the drug store and talked it over with the pharmacist. If it continues or gets worse I'll go to my doctor.

It's somebody's fault on-line here, I heard you'all talking about being sick and it jumped right through the Internet. Either that or it's something I downloaded from the DAZ sales. Looking at the computer display hurts my eyes. Goodbye cruel world, I'm going back into my womb and sweat this out.

Yep, that sounds like it. My lungs and throat and chest muscles hurt from so much coughing. I opened my last can of soup tonight. Will have to crawl to local market to get some more.
