I hate being sick. Absolutely miserable night. Fever temperature of 100.4F and my normal temperature is typically more than a degree low (97.0). Chills, headache from hell. Joint aches, muscle aches. I move in extreme slow motion. Time passes terribly slowly, last night seemed like 30 hours. I finally got out of bed at 4:30AM, sat in front of the TV nearly naked and vegetated with fans blowing on me. About 6:30 AM I finally had enough energy to try to take a shower. I was afraid of passing out and falling but made it through upright. The moist air in the shower seems to have broken up some of the mucus and I'm breathing a little better. The coughing has stopped but I'm still dizzy.

Truly complaint-worthy. Hope that is better soonest. If not, get to your doctor asap.

My fever reached 100.9 about 8:00AM but has been going down steadily and is now at 99.4
. I feel much better but sometime during the night I strained my neck with unevenly propped up pillows. I didn't notice the neck pain until my fever and aches subsided. Still have raging tinnitus but that should subside when this is all over. I should have known that I was coming down with a virus because the tinnitus had been getting loud for a couple of days. I wish I could fall asleep for about 12 hours.

LG, I hope you get well faster than I did. When I had the flu in November, I had high fever and was very sick for 12 days. Our bodies heal during sleep, so get all the zzzzz's that you can. You know that we're not going any place.

Hugs and healing thoughts headed your way.

Yesterday was not a good day. My little Chuy passed away at 3:45 pm. He was in my lap, being cuddled and loved. We were together almost constantly since he came to love with me in June 2001.

Funeral services will be held when my daughter and her two sons get here from Free Comic Book Day and breakfast.

sorry to hear about your dog AtticAnne.

I had a comment about a stupid search engine but I'll type that in the next thread out of respect for AtticAnne.

Thank you. I do seem to be over the worst of it. Temperature rose to 100.9 but is now down to 99.2

i'm posting this before I forget: I'm looking at a French modeling site to look at the poses and outfits. I think I can use google to translate the page from French to English. I tried clicking the little flag for the U.K. English on the modeling site but nothing happened.

No, I am in the United States of America. The website has a flag for the U.K., not the USA. I notice that most websites place a British flag to represent the English language. Clicking on the British flag is supposed to load the English version of the website, not an HTTP 404 error.

I want Kurt or Stephane to take my paystub to the scanner so I can scan it in but they refuse to leave their tanks.
