Been a while since I was able to visit - not sure what happened but I lost track of the thread and it took a while to track down
Heard there's been some severe flooding going on some places, hope everyone's allright D:
That's why I keep a tab open with the DAZ forums. Most of the time it's on this thread. it makes it easier to go back and hit it again, then refresh the page. The eBots have been terrible in the last couple of months. It's hit or miss, and usually miss.

...had four and almost dozed off. Yeah not as spry as I used to be (and the beers were not even that strong).

...hmmm....I can still remember:
--Tom Terrific and his Wonder Dog Manfred
--The original Mighty Mouse
--Mr Green Jeans, Bunny Rabbit and Mr Moose.
--Ernie Kovacs
--Soupy Sales
--Science Fiction Theatre
--Jeopardy with Art Fleming (when the categories for the first round were worth 10 - 50$)
--When a fully loaded Cadillac Eldorado given away on Let's Make A Deal was valued at 7,800$.
...When Dick Clark didn't need plastic surgery.
--When this skinny guy with black hair named Johnny Carson who took over for Steve Allen.
--When the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite was only 15 minutes long (and when it was over, you were more well informed than watching several hours of CNN, MSNBC, or Faux News).
--When "Live via Satellite" had a huge "wow" factor
--When space launches were a national event
--When there were only three network channels (if you lived in a big enough city) and maybe a local UHF or educational station.
...yeah,...
Now I feel really old. Shouldn't have done that.

Do you remember "Colonel Bleep"? Or how about "Beanie & Cecil"?
"Science Fiction Theater" with "Your host Truman Bradley", was wonderful, and much of the stuff they predicted is now commonplace. My favorite was the episode where the kid was able to power his electric train set from a suitcase that the mysterious stranger left behind & the scientists who examined it determined that it was powered by solid hydrogen (I think).
How about Chester instead of Festus on "Gunsmoke"?
"Howdy Doody"?
Kookla, Fran & Ollie?
Rocky Jones, Winky, Bobby, Cleolanta ?
Captain Midnight and Ikkey?
It's amazing what a $10 set and cheesy acting can do for an 8 year old's mind!
Beanie & Cecil: bad guy "Dishonest John" and his trademark "nyah-ah-ah!"
The Island that was called "No Bikini Atoll".
I don't remember that island but Colonel Bleep's island was Zero-Zero Island.
How about Hans Conried? How many shows/movies can you name that have him or his voice? My favorite is "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T"
And aside from television, do you remember the pre-Interstate highways?
Rickety old barns with "Mail Pouch" tobacco advertisements painted on the side?
Huge tire dumps all over the place, visible from the road, many burning?
Huge automobile graveyards, visible from the road, all over the place?
Smog so thick you couldn't see to the end of your street?
Garbage and sewage swirling in eddies in most rivers?
Jet noise so loud that your windows rattled when they flew into the airport?
Unsupervised open-air dumps in every little town that were just back-woods places where the locals dumped any and all trash, glass, metal, paints and chemicals. And it would usually roll down the valley into the creek and end up in the rivers? And the bears would come and scatter the stuff around?
Despite our current problems we have made progress in some areas.

What do you mean "remember"? He's still on the boob tube. My 3-yr old grandson loves to watch him and even dances with Barney. Oh, yes, I remember Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Greenjeans. The show that preceded it where we were was Ding Dong School with Miss Frances. My little sister and brother thought she was actually hearing them and would enthusiastically shout answers to her questions.

Bookmarking a thread that moves so fast is a waste for me. But I do have the forums as one of my home pages. Of course, when I reboot the computer, it comes up on the home page of the forums.

I am trying to figure out how Monique is unique

Well, in a little shack like that, I'd say just the sushi chef in a white outfit. Make him Japanese if you can. Maybe look into outfits that sushi chefs wear, if they're different from regular chef's outfits. Here, have a look! ;-)
